OK, I'll admit it.

I'm rooting for Denny Hamlin to win this championship. After so many years of being one of the top contenders, he would've earned it.
How many other drivers won 6 times in one year as a 44 year-old? Dennis has been extremely impressive this year.

A championship doesn't mean that much anymore but it still would be a great way to crown a 20-year Cup series career.

It’s crazy how he’s still good at his age. Almost makes me think the fans that say you’re washed at 40 in this day and age are full of it.

Mark Martin won five races in 2009 and he was 49 or 50.

Dale Earnhardt was winning races in his upper-40s.

I hope he gets a championship.
If he doesn’t, it doesn’t mean he isn’t one of the greatest to ever drive.
How many in the playoffs this year will get 60+ career wins?

People just do not appreciate how much it takes to win A race. 60 is phenomenal.

Rusty lost his nerve in 2001 when he watched Dale die.

Disagree. Rusty never slowed down. He had five second place finishes in 2022.

He was still really good until the end. The competition just got better when Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, Matt Kenseth, Kevin Harvick, Dale Jr, Kurt Busch and Ryan Newman came along.

It’s ok to disagree. 😊
One win after Dale died.

Harv was in his mid 40’s winning races. Harry Gant. Jeff Gordon made it to the the championship race at 43. Long lost of guys that have gotten it done in their 40’s. Props to Denny for still getting it done

I can't wait to get to Phoenix to watch him get his shot.

2022? 😊

Is Denny a great driver? Yes, no doubt about that.
Has Denny been a jerk during his career? Yes, no doubt about that.
Do I want to see Denny win a championship? No, no doubt about that.

That said, if he gets it, it is deserving and proper congratulations will be due.

That’s a statement I will slightly echo, although my level of despise for Hamcrap means I will root for anybody but Hamjerk to win. It will be so glorious seeing him get to the final race and lose. Despite his lies, a championship means everything to him.

Should he happen to win at Phoenix, WITHOUT running cars up into the marbles or outright wrecking people to do it, I will utter a difficult “congratulations”.

60 wins makes your paragraph seem foolish.

Never said the guy isn’t a winning driver. I’ve said I detest the guy for being a jerk, a narcissist, and wrecking many a driver with intent. My right as a fan to not like him. Also it’s your right as a fan to like him.
