I'm not sure that naming a street after people that were killed while exercising poor, illegal judgment would send the right message...

If this were some kid from the neighborhood, the city might be seeking restitution for the trees and light pole. This was nothing more than some people killed while illegally speeding.
The difference is, one of them made movies.
