I told you guys snow sucks
I’m betting it was a ligament tear or torn meniscus. I’ve had 3 knee surgeries.
So have I. Everytime it was ligaments for me they waited to have surgery as you could still do it just hurt. Only time they were in somewhat of a hurry to do the surgery was when I tore meniscus and it got stuck in the knee joint and I couldn't get my leg straight.

Like I said before my speculation is if they're doing surgery right away it's bone

They replaced my ACL three days after I destroyed it. I guess it depends on individual injuries and whatever the doctor thinks is best.

Chase needs a break. Performance fell off hard last year, new season starts and he injures himself.

Work season hasn't been too kind to him lately. Hopefully he heals and was having a good time, all things considered.

Chase could be out a long time, my DIL broke her tibia and couldn’t bear weight on it for 8 weeks. Was a good 6 months before she was anywhere near “normal”.

Really cool stuff from Kyle. It seems like there is quite a big difference between driver persona and who these drivers are as people.

Since the move, we're seeing a lot more of Kyle the man.

DAMMIT KYLE QUIT BEING SO LIKABLE

I'm all for the waiver and was 100% ok with KDB getting his the year he won the championship. But I wonder if the many Chase fans that cried so loud about KDB will have a whole different view now?
If he’s out a good portion of the season, I wouldn’t be a fan of it personally. But NASCAR also set themselves up for it and would be inconsistent of them not to. But tbh with how long he might be out, I doubt it even matters.

What channel do I watch my new favorite driver Josh Berry on for practice?

If the championship was legitimately determined, I’d be angry or dismissive with Chase winning it while only competing in 2/3 of the season. I’m less dismissive given the lottery method they use now anyway.

I actually think this is a good byproduct of the playoffs. It encourages drivers to rest up and not drive while hurt.

Also, this is a different situation than Kyle's 2015 championship. The introduction of playoff points will make it very difficult for Chase to advance from round to round. Kyle didn't have that issue because playoff points didn't exist yet. Now, if you don't enter the playoffs with playoff points, you will need to overperform or win at least one race per round to advance.

Did any reports indicate if it was his gas leg or his clutch/brake leg? I would think he could come back sooner if the injury was to his gas leg, not as much pressure pushing the gas pedal compared to the brake/clutch pedals.

Prolly his right leg. It was fatigued from trying to catch the 8 last weekend.

It's his left/break leg. Was wondering if there's anything they can do to reduce the pedal resistance to help.

I also think he'll probably kick the tires and do some sim work trying out the one foot style. At least for ovals.
