been there, cop got me outside of winston salem NC, said i didn't move over. the ticket was $400.00 (kinda hard to move over when you got an 18 wheeler right beside you) i went to court and they reduced it:sarcasm: to $150.00 + court cost
 
It's been pay before pumping around here for as long as I can remember. Pay at the pump was the only good thing they have done in a long time in my opinion. Going into the gas station is inconvenient and in some cases around here extremely dangerous. Gas stations around here get robbed an awful lot. I'd rather not be inside when it happens.

All the gas stations around here photograph you pumping your gas and your license plate when you pull in or out. There are signs at all the pumps saying that if you are caught steeling gas, they take your driver's license. I'm not sure how you could steal gas at a pay first station, but criminals can be very creative when it comes to stealing stuff to avoid getting a freaking job.
 
down here they attach card readers at some pumps and scam your credit/debit card info

Its a good idea if you are paying with a debit card or cerdit card its a good idea. Fast and Easy, i agree. But if you are paying cash it is very Inconvenient, because it could lead to 2 or more trips in to the station and take longer to get on your way.

here at home, one of the valero's is giving 3 cents off if you pay with cash instead of plastic or check.
