Phoenix Bonehead

What pissed off Jeff is Clint putting him in the wall on the back stretch (on replay you can see smoke from the right rear of the 24 scraping the wall) then running high into the corner it forcing the 24 up the track and into the wall. So Jeff took care of it. Maybe Clint learned his lesson. We shall see.

NASCAR for not throwing the caution.

Gordon gets hero points this week for causing that with Clint. NASCAR's been needing something like that for a long long long time.
Hero points?, what he should of done is waited for clint to get out of the car and whoop his ass like a man, what he did was stupid yeah he got his target but also took out lagano and almost took out Kez. IMO he does deserve to get suspended for final race and fined and points and crew members from both teams fined with some suspended, and by the way if JR. did the same thing I'd feel the same way.

You must be getting blind and senile. Haha

Sorry Gordon took out two cars and a third slammed into them, someone could have been badly hurt. An unbelievably stupid move on his part, he needs to be parked for the last race and Daytona.

Agreed. Jeff retaliated for the slightest racing contact, made worse by Jeff spinning himself trying to wreck Bowyer the first time. Then he comes out and tries again, when the idiot should have been racing.

This is the same guy who moves people all the time, but he acts like a little bitch over the slightest contact.

Actually, I'm changing my pick. I don't see why NASCAR should've thrown a caution. Danica spun, everyone else got by and then she got going. By the time NASCAR could've thrown a caution, she would've been rolling again. If Danica had hit pit road, like she should have, there would've been no oil.

Danica gets the nod for deciding to drop oil all over the track instead of going in to the pits.

Gordon. Non of the melee at the end of the race would have happened if it hadn't been for Gordon getting his pay back in.

And the Gordon/Bowyer incident would not have happened if not for Danica Patrick wrecking Sam Hornish. Saying Gordon's responsible for the last lap mayhem is idiotic.

Gordon, hopefully Joe Gibbs and Richard Petty will send him a bill for their wrecked cars. NO reason for somthing like that with 3 laps left.

Kyle Busch...sorry force of habit for these situations I mean Jeff Gordon. I think Logano put it best on twitter. When I was young I thought @JeffGordonWeb was the best driver. Now I've lost a lot of respect for him. #verydumb

Laughing so hard I'm crying:rolleyes:

My BOTW is Clint Bowyer. Only so many times you can rough somebody up in a season before they return the favor, it's pretty simple. Clint got what he deserved.

I don't see Gordon getting out and fighting like a man. He always hides behind his crew. ESPN made out like Gordon was in the middle of the fight when he was being carried off like a 2 year old and his crew was left to do the fighting.

The 15 crew came down to beat Gordons ass. This is not right. Thats Clints fight.

And as far as him hiding. i would too. Hes not a quarterback,

Clint did it at m-ville. Hes still got a ride.

Really? Bowyer slowed down waited for Gordon to come around and then took him out? Come on you can't compare the two, Gordon waited saw his opening and took out Bowyer on purpose under green and two other cars got caught up in it, I agree with Kyle Petty on this one, "what we saw from a past champion was an embarrassment"

Any drivers/fans on the wrong end of the Martinsville deal probably feel Gordon was justified while those caught up in the mess did nothing to deserve the outcome. I don't have a problem with Gordon and Bowyer having at it but that simply wasn't the place or time.

Alan G said that Bowyer had done Jeff wrong on five different occasions. This is the straw that broke the camels back.

Of course he did.

I remember 2010 when Johnson was the one doing Gordon wrong ;)

Doing somebody wrong.

hmmmmmm.....

I was just thinking, Gordon, waiting on Bowyer.

The last time I saw that was during a 1/4 mile modified race in the deep south at Bowman Gray.

It was funny watching Jeff "struggle" get get free and into the brawl and pausing to fix his hair. :XXROFL:

There was a crew member standing by the car with a hat as Gordon was climbing out but I guess he refused.

If it was Clints fight why didn't Gordon stop and have a talk with Clint instead of driving to pit road to hide behind his crew. Didn't come out of his hauler when Bowyer approached it did he? Would have really been a big ado if Gordon had taken Kez out too. Guess he was already upset that his 48 car was all but out of the chase, but what if Gordon was trying to get Kez too to even his chances at Homestead.?

Keselowski said that he didn't want to win it like that in reference to #48 getting into the wall so I guess he could even things up ;)

Gordon. I've said it before and I'll say it again. If you're going to take out another driver, don't take yourself out in the process.

He isn't Danica Patrick but I think he might have stayed with her at a Holiday Inn Express. :XXROFL:

I went back on my DVR. Watched the whole thing again.

I vote for NASCAR being the bonehead. After Danica 'forgot' to go down pit road, she oiled up the track nicely.

As cars go through, almost every one of them starts to slide. Kurt ends up meeting the wall, then he hits the #2.

Now, I know that everybody on here wants to kill Gordon because he 'could have' changed the chase for the #2.

But Brad was able to easily stay away, and didn't get even a scratch.

However, on the final lap, he gets hit (thanks to NASCAR and their no caution for oil on the last lap policy), and with luck doesn't fall several spots in the finish.

Bonehead Gordon = no mess w/brad.

Bonehead NASCAR = almost cost Brad the chase.

Discuss.
