Hey, it's their car too. Their sweat, their hours and hours in the shop. The 15 crew came down to beat Gordons ass. This is not right. Thats Clints fight.
And as far as him hiding. i would too. Hes not a quarterback,

Dude, I know that you've yourself (wow, shocker) into a Danica hater, but when she spun she was past the entrance of pit lane. She did the right thing righting the car and getting to the bottom of the track. You sure do love to use the "would have" phrase.Actually, I'm changing my pick. I don't see why NASCAR should've thrown a caution. Danica spun, everyone else got by and then she got going. By the time NASCAR could've thrown a caution, she would've been rolling again. If Danica had hit pit road, like she should have, there would've been no oil.
Danica gets the nod for deciding to drop oil all over the track instead of going in to the pits.
When is the last time you saw a guy that fixes cars and changes tires for a living go after a four time champ that is a key centerpiece for a multi-million dollar organization?Hey, it's their car too. Their sweat, their hours and hours in the shop.
Really? Bowyer slowed down waited for Gordon to come around and then took him out? Come on you can't compare the two, Gordon waited saw his opening and took out Bowyer on purpose under green and two other cars got caught up in it, I agree with Kyle Petty on this one, "what we saw from a past champion was an embarrassment"
NO, she was not dude. She could have taken it to the pits.Dude, I know that you've yourself (wow, shocker) into a Danica hater, but when she spun she was past the entrance of pit lane. Harvick was able to stay ahead of the field as an wreck broke out behind him, thanks to Danica Patrick hitting the wall in turn three and spreading oil on the track.Dude, I know that you've yourself (wow, shocker) into a Danica hater, but when she spun she was past the entrance of pit lane. And why argue anyhow.
Nascar should have thrown the caution. Every car that drove through her mess of oil slid up the track. Causing the 78 to hit the wall, then hit the two car.
If Brad would have been downed to 25th on that last run in, there would be hell to pay right now.
I couldn't agree more, Moe. You really had me going with that JG defense you put on last night.
Bonehead of the week, PhoenixAnd the award goes to (drum roll, please) NASCAR!
When Gordon got into the wall, no matter who was or was not responsible, NASCAR should have thrown a caution. They did not. Had they done so, things might have turned out differently but that is speculation and not the point. The point is, NASCAR did not follow their own guidelines in either the situation with Gordon - Bowyer or Patrick - Burton.
NASCAR established a president of throwing a caution for spins, a car hitting the wall, even if the car continues.
Therefore, the bonehead move award goes to NASCAR for failing to be consistent in their rulings and at Phoenix, not once but twice. One must question, will this be the new norm for NASCAR?
As for the Gordon - Bowyer deal, a couple of years ago, NASCAR said, "boy's have at it." Whether anyone might think the action by Gordon was justified or unjustified, Gordon was playing by NASCAR rules while NASCAR was being inconsistent with their own rules. Ergo, no penalty, fines or other punishment should be levied on either driver.
Race teams are another story. They should be fined and the race team, not the driver, should lose points.
I just think that if people go back and watch all this, they will see things that they didn't see the first time.
I.E. Gordon did not turn dead left into clint. Just watch it agin.
I think Bowyer is a bonehead for getting that close to him really.
So it wasn't an act?
Dude, you need to watch sportcenter. They had the video that shows JG making a hard left into Bowyer.

How did he do that?Jeff Gordon is a douchebag. He singlehandedly influenced the outcome of the championship. Class act.

Possibly, but in the end he didn't. It was a dumb move to risk being the guy who wrecked both the #1 and #3 in points with 1 race to go. All that for a little rub. Jeff can cry all he wants about history, but he payed Bowyer back at Martinsville, and even admitted that he couldn't have won anyway on those tires. Lets be real here. Bowyer gave Jeff a slight rub. It had no affect on Jeff's day. Jeff turned into a whining beech and tried to turn Bowyer and ended up ruining his own day.
All Jeff's stupidity. If he really felt he owed Clint, wait until next year, douchbag. And his team sucks for not warning him about making an ass out of himself and ruining the chase. Dumbass awards for the entire 24 team. If JJ was in Brads position, you can be damn sure Jeff would have been called off. I think Brad should wall Jeff at Daytona.
Too many Straws for Jeff's girlish little back. It wasn't M-Ville alone, It wasn't the little on here or there. ALL of it led to a guy striking back. One can only get poked in the chest so many times.
Take a look at 04:20.
Right, wrong or whatever, I am just happy to see some passion being expressed.
Im not happy when I see guys from the 15 throw down one man and FORREST MONKEY him.
That's just not right man. That crew guy did nothing to the 15 guys. NOTHING. And he got his ass beat.
Who's the bonehead now?

Andy, I'm glad you have a new pair of Danica hate glasses, they obviously work quite well. But I STILL stick by my opinion, she did the right thing. NASCAR should have thrown the caution right then, just like they should have thrown the caution when Gordon hit the wall the first time. NASCAR is the bigger bonehead here. She spun in the entrance to turn three, not past the pit entrance.
NASCAR is the bigger bonehead here.
I agree! If NASCAR is stupid enough to let her on the track, why expect her to be smart enough to pull off of it.

Quite honestly , I've only ever seen one driver willingly take his car off the track on the white flag lap , and that was Mark Martin's biggest mistake . I 've seen every big name driver in Nascar limp over the finish line with fluids leaking and parts falling off . No driver would even do it with the black flag being shown to them , I don't see why Danica would be expected to.
Damn, I agree with Matt, the sky is falling, the sky is falling.Brad K for his comments condemning retaliation. Pot, meet kettle.
