Stenhouse puts the #17 in victory lane today. Book it.
I missed what Kyle said about the Toyota engine. I know it's valvetrain but did he say what part specifically is failing? It seems the Toyota's were plagued valvetrain issues last year you'd figure they'd have resolved it in the off-season.nope he has an opinion, he didn't like the Daytona race and he thought the Gen 6 car didn't make the race any better. I have no problem with that. Sometimes I don't agree with him. He just now cleared up the Gibbs team motor woes, and he pointed out the people responsible for the motor problems. I wouldn't throw the baby out with the bath water.
Then he needs to do a lot better than he did yesterday.Stenhouse puts the #17 in victory lane today. Book it.

Start a new one. I had just created this for a pre-race race thread. Is there going to be a separate race thread, or are we going to keep using this one?
TRD is based out here somewhere and from what I can tell they were having rocker arm failures. I think JGR is having similar issues. Kenseth and Busch had engine problems at Daytona and now Denny and Kyle go to the rear for an engine changes. What he said is that the problems began when Gibbs quit building their own engines and started buying them from Toyota Racing Development. I agree totally, hard to chew on somebody when you are not signing their check.
