Is it just me or is Mark Martin becoming the new "rocket man" Feel like he started at the front a lot last year.

Yes im to lazy to look up the stats to prove my thought.

I'm not sure how many poles he had last year but it was tied for the most of anyone, and that was running two-thirds of the schedule. I think he had four or five.

I saw something interesting on Truez Jr's car that I've never noticed before, but often wondered why it wasn't done. It looked like he had an extra heavy heat shield around his front disc to protect the tire bead.

If it were my design, it would have fins to dissapate the heat better and direct it away from the tire.

3 of my bench picks are faster than my main,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,will I pass?

Freaky Dog's locale is only known by the insiders. So take the main dirt road West out of Sick Dog. Shortly afterwards you will see two dogs getting busy (they meat every morning at 6:45). At that point put in a CD of ACDC doing shook me all night long, once the song finishes immediately (must do quickly) afterswards put in a CD of Frampton doing "do you feel like we do". When he starts playing the air pipe immediatly eject the disk, and start playing "CrossRoads" live by Lynard Skynard and when A.C. finishes his last solo get out the car.

Then send me a pm, and wait on the black cubed van to cone get you, they will escort you into Freaky Dog.
Geez, that'd put me well into Georgia -IF- I could stand Skynard. Heck, I can barely tolerate Frampton.

My only issue is their interpretations of the length of a car. Sometimes when they describe cars as being only one or two car-lengths apart, I wonder if they mean haulers instead. :D

I have wondered the same, but all I could see was what they was a telling me, so it was all good. I have probably had a woman to embellish and fake how good things was too, but still it was all wonderful, including when MRN did the same thing. Sometimes ignorance is worth it.....

A couple to the back.....

#11 team changes engines; Hamlin to the rear: #11-Denny Hamlin will start Sunday's Sprint Cup race at the rear of the field after his Joe Gibbs Racing team changed engines in his Toyota Saturday. Hamlin qualified eighth Friday.

Kurt Busch to to Backup Car at Phoenix: After a solid first qualifying lap at the Phoenix on Friday, Kurt Busch's #78 Furniture Row/Beautyrest Chevy scraped the wall during the second lap due to a malfunction in the coolant system. The damage (right-front and right-side) was enough that the team will go to the backup car for Sunday's Subway Fresh Fit 500 Sprint Cup race.

If Kyle or Denny lose an engine during today's race we may hear some interesting comments from them.

If I were a Toyota driver, I would be flipping out.

Joe Gibbs said they found the problem. Certain sections of the engine were over heating and they've adjusted [the cooling?] to remedy the situation.

We'll have to wait and see if they just as fast as before or the redline was adjusted.
