I think that Hamlin my have had an operation on his knee..at least the announcers seem to mention it once in a while

Agreed. I hate fuel mileage races anyway.
Do doubt. It sucks to watch a race for four hours only to see a 12th place car get the win on fuel mileage...

I really wanted the 48 to run out of gas.
Nice to see the 99 back in Victory Lane but it really sucks to see the best car get beat on fuel...

I have mixed feelings on this. I do understand his disappointment, but it's not like he's the only one who has faced it. Maybe he should talk to Bill Elliott who lost a title due to one lap, even though he won the race. At least Denny still has the lead.

I disagree. I like to see racers that display their disappointment. Yeah, Elliot lost the title by a lap, but not everyone is bill Elliot. How boring this sport would be if every driver acted the same exact way as every other driver after every race. Talk about vanilla, and that's bad enough as it is.
