Phoenix race thread - Part II

Hamlin was blowing in the pre race about how he wanted to have to race for the title at Homestead - looks like he got what he wanted.

And the race tightens up going into Homestead! I love it! :D Jimmie never had to try at Homestead, because he had the chase all tied up, he had to just not wreck. Homstead will be very interesting.

GO JIMMIE! :beerbang:

We'll see. Jimmie never had to try at Homestead, so it'll be interesting to see what he can accomplish now that he actually has to race at the last race of the season.

Congrats to Carl! Nice to see him get a win, I don't think he will be running into the stands anymore after doing it that time, it looked like it was getting a bit out of hand in the stands.

Sucks for Denny. I'm hoping Denny or Harvick can pull it off next week but with the way things went down today it sure looks like we might be stuck with another Jimmie Johnson championship. Should be a fun one though.

Now now now, don't go messing with the conspiracy theorists. :D

How many teams have been caught with illegal wheel studs and allowed to change them out without penalty???????????????????????????????????????

The only thing that sucks for Denny is his attitude. He's basically thrown in the towel while Johnson and Harvick both have a great outlook.

I think that'll be his undoing going into Homestead.

If Hamlin acted like that today and is still leading the points, what will he do next week if (or "when" is probably a better word) the 48 pulls into victory lane?!?

So the conscencious is Hamlin's sour attitude today is unaceptable but Gordon sissy slapping J. Burton last week was excusable...

It seems to me that the majority of racing-forums.com members want flavorless robots putting forth fake happiness at the end of the day. Or, as an alternate to that, an attempted knock down, drag out fight.

Smile pretty for the camera, or punch someone in the face....no in between allowe:rolleyes:

Maybe if there were more Toyotas up front to pull over for him, he could have gotten to Edwards.

And what does the majority do?

Don't include me in that group.

What really sucks about that is that without Jimmie even having to try at Homestead, he still has a top ten average finish over the past four years there. I think we may be in trouble.

:rolleyes:So the 48 cheats twice in the chase and no penalities...AZZHATS:rolleyes:

Oh wait mabey one of the lugs were just cracked:sarcasm:
