Plans Emerge For Six-Race, Women-Only Motor Racing Championship

What do you mean they got where they are without it. Where are all these women in racing your talking about. None in Trucks, none in Xfinity and now none in Cup. None in IRL and none in F1. So now you say it is demeaning to give them a place to race and only compete with other women??

That is one hell of a prejudice comment.

Not sure how you see anything I said as prejudiced. What do I mean? Look at the tweets above from the women in racing. Andy summed it up well in his posts.

Those women have no other option than to support their existing role , Otherwise they may have no option. If things change and that series becomes a reality I would bet they would all opt in for a ride. If Nascar were to offer the same opportunity at the Xfinity level and have an all women series, they would line up to join. The problem is like everything else those women drivers would get half pay which is the real reality in life in the free world.

There in lies the rub..the ability word. Not judging every women, but the crappy equipment excuse doesn't apply to Danica who just left because of non performance or am I counting out every women racer who comes along. But she had every opportunity to excel. Lets see what Almirola does next year in the same equipment in comparison.
Haven't you heard? Danica only left because boys will be boys and can't let a woman beat them, so they wrecked her. Don't look at the fact that almost all the races she finished she was laps down anyway. Doesn't matter. That was probably because the men back at the shop gave her crappy equipment.

Indeed it has been more than 40 years since a woman driver entered a Formula One race when Italian Lella Lombardi took to the starting grid at the 1976 Austrian Grand Prix.:idunno:
And this series isn’t going to do anything to change that. The prize is a test drive, which doesn't really mean much, considering F1 teams sell those (and FP1 sessions) to guys like Sean Gelael all the time.

Doesn't make any sense with some of the squawking about we're equal whatever that means. Are they afraid of being banned from mixed events?

Did he buy his Red Bull backing?

Rio Hyranto was by far the better driver from Indonesia...

The Toro Rosso stuff is almost certainly bought and paid for. His family runs KFC Indonesia so that's why whatever team he's at runs that KFC/Jagonya Ayam livery.

Pretty much the only way he could get to run for Prema next year too.

Oh okay, well I wish the young man the best... He's going to have something to show in a Prema car nonetheless.

Six more races Danica could lose? :idunno:

I don't know what Kool-Aid Jorda's been chug-a-lugging, but I'd love to hear her reasoning. Several countries have female fighter pilots, so it obviously isn't a question of reaction speed, spacial orientation, or the ability to handle G-forces. Maybe is just that SHE can't compete with men (or women either)?
