Interested in hearing everybody's opinion on this.
I think NASCAR should end this rule and allow teams to run 5-6 cars/trucks in each race. If SHR and HMS (the only 4 car teams) each ran one more car that'd be 2 more high-quality rides with solidly funded teams. That would increase competition since 2 start and park cars would be out and 2 championship-contending drivers in.
I've heard people say it would decrease competition because the big teams would dominate. But isn't that already happening? This forms the question of "Would you rather see a variety of teams win or a variety of drivers win?" It's hard to get one without sacrificing the other.
