Presenting the NEW Kyle Busch.

Kyle has a problem, and as delicate as Hamlin may be, he is demonstrating that Kyle isn't getting everything out a Gibbs car, or fulfilling his potential.
Hamlin has already come much closer to putting a complete season together, in 2010, and during this current season, while Kyle has not done as much with a Gibbs car.

Kyle has some valid reasons to want more out of TRD, but even when you are right you can't routinely rub people's faces in their own crap. Any self respecting person will eventually lose their patience, and walk away, or determine to settle the score in a way that satisfies their own little justice system.

I was hoping he would learn from his brothers self inflicted damages, or that a smart and attractive wife would be able to refine his personal skills, along with nurturing the animal that is an incredible driver.
But I just don't know if Kyle will ever get it, he obviously is a very angry person, that is unable to suppress the rage.
If he ever hits a slump, like a season with no wins, he better pack his bags, because he doesn't offer anything else, nor does he foster improvement.

I hope it ends better than my expectations.

Well said, and I agree with it all. Even when Kyle is running well, he tears his team apart for any little thing. Remember when he entered the chase with the points lead, then someone forgot to tighten a hyme joint? Two weeks later, it seems like he's running on 7 cylinders. After the race, they find half the wrapper is still on the air filter. I often wondered about those 'mistakes'.

What comes around goes around. Treat people like crap and you will eventually end up with crap .
Hmmm let me think of an example...........................................................................................................
Kurt comes to mind.
All I see is two spoiled little brats that needed five across the eyes when they were younger.

Dang! You might just be on to something FB. A team that is sick and tired of being thrown under the bus intentionally screws their driver? I don't think so. The stress of dealing with a dick may facilitate mistakes though.

I've been worried about this for since Chicago when he roughed up Harvick and Keselowski. I really think his twisted mind is looking for an excuse to lash out. We all know he's more than willing to wreck a championship contender, because he's done it twice already.

Keselowski got what he deserved. If only it had ended his race...

It's over the radio when he was aggravated and Kyles right, his motors have been a piece of sh*t. Kyle has done nothing wrong this year.

Greg Biffle curses out and flips out at his crew all the time but you don't see these articles about him. It's only the Busch brothers witch hunt that I'm sick and tired of.

I'd rather see these guys show emotion, whether right or wrong then see Jimmie "no emotion" Johnson and Carl "I wanna pretend I'm a good loser" Edwards.

I may not like Brad K but at least he backs it up when it he runs his mouth like a retard, or should he shut his mouth too and become vanilla as well? We can't have it both ways. People complain about the lack of energy and emotions from drivers and then when we get that they complain it's wrong.

Wow. Somebody sure is sore.

This is how it is buddy:

Greg is disillusioned if the thinks he stood a chance at the title when he called it at MIS back in the late summer.
Greg is a tard with incredible talent and a junk car for the chase. He's frustrated.

Kyle on the other hand almost lost his ride last year. I don't remember that happening to Greg.

Kyle is known for his tirades.

Kyles brother lost a ride with an A grade team to race for a has been who could never give him a title shot.

Kyle is going to end up there soon if he doesn't change how he talks.

And as far as your energy to prop Kyle up because he has feelings goes, that's your opinion, and TOYOTA opinion might be to get somebody that actually cares about his job.

If you have no problem with Kyle calling TRD “piece of s#*t mother@$%&ers” over his radio, there's little motivation for me to continue.

I have never heard a driver throw a CAR COMPANY that pays him to race under the bus like that before. But then again I have only been watching for eight years.

I wonder if Toyota has considered presenting Kyle with a contract that dings him in the wallet when he throws the name plate under the bus?

And, it's got to be hard when you are an owner of TOYOTA racing products, and you drive them, and you throw them under the bus.

Pretty unique situation Kyle is in.

Just a thought

I don't think any manufacturer ever thought that a guy who raced for them would do something like that.

Greg threw his team under the bus. Happens all the time.

Kyle threw his paycheck under the bus.

th
Kurt, last Thanksgiving at Waffle House."What do you mean,no Strawberry Pancakes"?

and somehow, people don't see the difference.

Admittedly, I'm not a Kyle fan --- don't know why, he just irritates me.
But that doesn't keep me from admitting he has all the talent in world and could be a champion -- probably several times over.
Since I'm not close to him and can't judge him through personal knowledge, I can only compare him with people I've known who've shown
similar tendencies to melt down. He strikes me as someone who has had such success at a very early age never learned the coping mechanisms to deal
with failure.
I do hope he can find ways to cope with the down times --- every driver has them, even the best.

All those pics are real. We know for sure because they were in the Enquirer. ;)
ROTFLMAO

I'll have you know my grandma read the Inquirer right up to the day she died. She swore it was the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. LOL She also thought Geraldo Rivera was the greatest thing that ever appeared on her TV. :D

Kyle Busch's angry radio outburst toward Toyota Racing Development at the end of Sunday's Dover race caught the attention of TRD president Lee White – and not in a good way.
White told The Charlotte Observer's Jim Utter on Wednesday he was upset by Busch's comments, which came after Busch lost the Dover race by having to make an extra pit stop. Though TRD is used to Busch being negative at times, White told the newspaper Busch's Dover remarks were a "special case."

"We're extremely disappointed in his negative comments and the tone of the comments after the event," White said. "It is under discussion as we move forward. We certainly are very disappointed; having said that, Kyle is an amazing talent in a race car and he takes it very personally when something goes wrong and he loses a race he thinks he should have won."

After Busch crossed the finish line on Sunday, he radioed to his team and expressed his displeasure with how the race unfolded. "Thank you, TRD," he said sarcastically. "****** us out of another one. Piece of ****, **************." Busch was angry because he apparently felt TRD motors did not get the same fuel mileage as the Dodge engine of race winner Brad Keselowski and the Chevrolet of Jimmie Johnson. Denny Hamlin, Busch's Joe Gibbs Racing teammate, was also among the drivers who had to pit when Keselowski and Johnson did not.

White said everyone at TRD shared Busch's frustration with how the circumstances of the race unfolded, but said the manufacturer had "nothing to apologize for."
"The thing I am most disappointed in is TRD is not some separate entity – we are Toyota," White said. "We are a global company. Every person globally shares in our passion for winning and competing – and that's hundreds of thousands of people. All those people and their families basically had their feelings hurt by those comments last week.

"I look forward to take it up with coach (Joe) Gibbs and see if we can't do something to sort it out so that we have a better working relationship in the future. I am confident that we will."

I see the filter didn't catch much.

Some pretty stern words from Mr White. I have a feeling Kyle will just ride around for a couple of weeks to show everyone what they are missing.

Some more comments and some interesting details from Lee White of TRD.

Toyota Racing Development president Lee White said he is unhappy with comments made by Kyle Busch following Sunday’s race at Dover International Speedway, saying he took those comments “a little bit personally.”

White revealed that Busch fell short on fuel mileage Sunday at least in part because of a decision he and crew chief Dave Rogers made prior to the race. “We have four lean maps that teams can choose from,” explained White. “They range from full power/full spark/all the horsepower you can get, down to Lean One, Lean Two and Lean Three. Depending on the circumstances the crew chiefs and drivers think the race may play out to, they make a choice (on fuel mapping). We don’t decide that, crew chiefs and drivers make that choice. “Nobody running a Toyota engine in that race ran a lean map at any level,” he revealed. “Not a single one of our crew chief/driver combinations made the choice (to run lean) at Dover. Not one.

“However, if you go back to Richmond, Brian Pattie and Clint Bowyer decided before the race that they were going to run Lean Three, to keep from burning off the rear tires. It became a fuel mileage race, and they won it. Granted, they had to push the car to Victory Lane, but they won that race because of TRD and Toyota’s fuel economy. They did the same thing at Sears Point, too.
“It gets a little lost in all this vitriol and dialogue, but that’s the history,” White said. “It’s proven history, and it’s documented history. Do we want (Kyle) to just laugh it off? No,” he said. “We want people to be upset, we want them to ask questions and get into the competition meetings… and ask, `What could we have done differently?

“Can we be better? Absolutely. Are the Dodge guys – Brad Keselowski and Paul Wolfe – doing a really good job? You’re damned right, they’re doing a great job. They’ve got something going on. Early on at Dover, they weren’t that fast. They were already on that (fuel mileage) strategy, hoping that the race would fall to them. And it did.

“It fell right in their laps, and more power to them.” White insisted, however, that Busch was not justified in his profanity laced tirade against TRD.

“That doesn’t excuse taking TRD and several hundred thousand people around the globe (to task),” he said. “We’re not just one little tiny deal here. We’re part of a much greater entity called Toyota. We are a global company and we represent every one of those (Toyota) associates, in the dealerships, the factories, in sales, promotion, shipping… you name it, all around the globe. They’re all passionate about what we do. They wear our successes and failures on their sleeves, so when you have a tirade like that; it’s not just hammering 244 TRD associates in the face. It’s hammering an entire culture in the face. “I’m sorry, but I take that a little bit personally.”

While stressing that TRD and Toyota do not hire or fire drivers, White said the incident is “something we’ll be talking about with Coach Gibbs.” He also said the outburst could impact the company’s future support of Busch. “Historically, we’ve had a great relationship with Kyle. Not only as a driver and team partner of his (at JGR), but we also support his Truck and Nationwide teams to a fairly significant level. There’s a business relationship there, as well, and someone other than myself will have to get into that as we move forward.

“I’m confident that we’ll sort that all out over a period of time.” White stopped short of saying Busch has permanently damaged his relationship with Toyota and TRD, saying, “This isn’t the first time it’s happened. People are used to it, and to some degree, they say, `Aw, it’s just Kyle,’ then turn around and walk away. “Everybody here is competitive,” he added. “We’re in an environment where all the teams, all the drivers, every man, woman and child is as competitive as the day is long. We’re extremely proud and happy to be part of it, and this is one of the burdens we all bear.

“We’re smart people, we’re ethical people, and we’ll work our way through this and do our darndest to make sure we handle this in the best possible way for ourselves, for our brand, for our company globally… and also for Kyle and Samantha Busch, because they’re a part of our family, as well.”

Some more comments and some interesting details from Lee White of TRD.
Imagine that, TRD has an issue with being publicly called “piece of s#*t mother@$%&ers” over Kyle's in-car radio. And here I thought that was to be perfectly acceptable. Just Kyle being Kyle.

Fans can defend him all they want but if the sponsor is having issues with what is being said then the driver has issues with that sponsor going forward. The response by Lee White of TMD speaks volumes IMO. I would have liked to see/hear Kyle's reaction to reading that. Somehow I think it would be, 'Whatever'.

That was a very interesting find/read Fender. Thanks for posting that.

About the TRD tuning...
If I was running for the championship, I would tune for better gas mileage and that has more to it than just the Dover race hindsight.

You just get beat up to much when you have to short pit in the chase races. I also think the races have less cautions during the chase races. I also think handling means more than horsepower. Just my two cents, and Kyle isn't in the chase, so he is going to go more wreckers or checkers, but when that's your choice you do need to hold yourself accountable first.

Some people always need someone to blame, and self evaluation or doing a personal critique only happens after they have inflicted devastating consequences upon themselves. I am afraid that's Kyle, and that same sense of entitlement will probably ruin him. A tragic figure.
