Presenting the NEW Kyle Busch.

Again why do you guys go to that TRD engine program complaint????? Denny,Bowyer,Truex all use those engines and they are in?

I am simply looking at the failures since TRD took over the engine building. Did MWR ever get engines from JGR?

Here's a even better tidbit from the same article.
By comparison, Hendrick Engines has supplied horsepower for seven cars in 2012. Those cars have suffered 17 engine failures; including four each for title contenders Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson.
Hendrick has 5 out of 7 in the Chase with almost double the engine failures??? and like Ted said MWR is using TRD and they have 2 out of 3 cars in the Chase.Face it the driving God just couldn't drive his way into the Chase.
Bump

His real talent is the ability to get rides in two of the biggest money organizations going - JGR and HMS.

Toss him in the #51 or the #78 and then let's see how he does. How humbling would that be, I wonder?

I'm confused here. Are we talking about the Kyle Busch that has 24 Cup wins, 51 Nationwide wins, & 30 Truck series wins. I'm not a Kyle Busch fan by any means and it kills me to defend this guy in any manner but to be questioning his talent in a race car is about as short sighted as I can imagine. Denying the guy is a wheel man is saying a lot more about the poster than it is Kyle Busch.

I'll complain about his demeanor to no end because I don't agree with his actions. I don't think that this guy has ever matured and looking at his brother he's still got a long way to go as he hasn't gotten there either IMO. Personally I don't think that his behavior will ever change and I think that his most recent apology is just another one of many that we've heard and will continue to hear. I've got to give the Kyle Busch fans out there credit for standing behind this guy as long as they have. I know I couldn't do it.

I didn't deny anything but people continuing to pass off his behaviour because of the great "talent" they feel he has speaks of them as well. Give him all the passes you wish, but don't expect everyone to do it.

It comes down to this, yes he can drive and yes he's a hot-head who shoots his mouth off when things go bad. Sooner or later whatever organization he's with is going to say he's stepped over the line one too many times and a apology won't cut it, seeya.

Not gonna happen.

When sponsors go away, Kyle goes away. That would be a shame, so he better straighten out his foul mouth. He has a lot of young fans, and he's about the worst role model a young nascar fan can have.

Not gonna happen.
To be fair though we've basically seen that happen with his brother, twice. Roush & Penske seem like two teams that wouldn't put up with this kind of stuff. Kyle simply needs to keep his finger off of the talk button in those situations and he should be fine. ;)

Every driver/team situation is different. Sponsors didn't leave; Kurt did.
I don't think anyone watches NASCAR or any other sport searching for a role model. Certainly the youngsters are not who's spending the dough at the driver trailers. Last I checked Kyles trailer had some of the longest lines.
Like I said, I'm over it. This weekend is not last weekend.

I think that many youngsters look to pro athletes for role models but I also feel that it's the parents responsibility to guide their children toward those who they feel appropriate. If that be a miserable git like Kyle Busch, so be it.

We all make our own choices such as choosing to be "over it." I personally choose to not be over it until maybe Sunday when the next race starts but I'll decide that whenever something new comes along to distract me for a while :D

I guess I'm just speaking from my own perspective. I watched boxing and pro football with my dad but I never looked up to the athletes nor aspired to be like them. They were who they were and I was who I was. My dad was my hero.

I completely understand what you're saying but we do live in a world where pro athletes are often revered and ultimately emulated. For a very small few, that worship turns into a lucrative career playing some game or racing cars around a track. Those are the people who we choose to be entertained by.

Personally, I wouldn't waste a red cent on any Nascar driver's merchandise but many - including younger people - do and surely that comes with some measure of responsibility on the part of the seller.

I only looked up to a few as role models . Lou Gehrig (never saw him play just from reading his bio). I did admire the Petty's maybe because Richard was my favorite when I got into racing. I like the racing family idea, they built their own stuff, and we're self sustained. I am still very serious about fixing my own stuff. As crazy as it sounds I like to think I am man enough to do it, and if I have to make it with my hands it means a lot to me. I think I got that desire from the Petty's.

My favorite drivers needed that kind of independence.

When kyle stops acting like a monkey phucking a football I will be over it. I think.

Although, I don't think kyle is over it. Look at last year and this year. NOTHING has changed.
Kyles attitude is the same. KYLE is not OVER it.

Or, I guess if you could drive like him or if he were watching you then you'd be over it

Kyle went too far. But since so many people are mad about it I'm glad he said it. Keeps things interesting.

I do not condone or appreciate the language that Kyle used last race. I honestly think the drivers should pay a toll of $10,000 for every over the top word that you or I would never use around our mother. That money could go to a charity and be well spent. I think the rant that Biffle went on would have amounted to $70,000 and Kyles would have been a cool million. The MF is the mother of all cuss words second only to the C word and carry a higher toll, IMO.

Now, when was the last time Kyle had three consecutive engine failures? The answer is 2012 and each motor was a TRD engine.

Sometimes dropping an f bomb (or an mf bomb) is just a straight forward way to express one's frustration. These guys are in their cars talking to their teams and no one is forcing anyone to listen to their conversations. And the networks censor what is broadcast so what's the big deal?

The big deal is I can't and wouldn't do it at work and I would be willing to bet you wouldn't either. These guys are making good money and they are up close with the public. Can you imagine JJ doing a TV ad for Lowe's and asking someone to "go get the MFing board stretcher?" Are you OK with your son hearing this language?

And last but not least, the frequencies that these drivers are using are licensed by the FCC and are subject to the same rules and regulations as all other RF frequencies.

I don't see the issue either. The last thing we need is fines for radio conversations between the drivers and crews.

I think it's the co**su**er part they are having a problem with.

Surely it's not being suggested that racing-forums start censoring what we may and may not discuss? If people don't like what's being talked about and yet continue to torture themselves by reading it, then they have issues beyond our control or responsibility. Some here probably find that to be entertaining.

First off , the way those frequencies are broadcast does not make them subject to FCC fines so let's just get that out of there.

And yes, swearing happens at work places. Maybe not in the confines of the office but definitely on any construction site or place where people are doing any type of physical labor. I work in IT Support at an office that says a friggin prayer at our Monday meetings yet I hear those same people occasionally swearing in their one on one conversations. It's not a big deal.

As far as Aiden hearing the language the drivers use? I don't mind it at all. I don't completely shelter him from swearing. In fact, he hears it from me occasionally. Dropping a hammer on my foot will usually result in some choice language as will some idiot driving 65 in the left lane on the highway. He understands that swearing is not appropriate for him and that he's not allowed to use those words. (although he did tell me that some of his 3rd grade classmates swear at school). People swear in the real world. Some are offended, some feign being offended and the vast majority don't care and choose to not let it bother them.

Look at how often he won in the JGR Nationwide cars VS how many wins he has in his own car. Yes I know he's ran fewer races but.......

He won 14 races in the first 2 years in the truck series in his own car and won the owners championship those first 2 years as well. He's only raced in 1 truck race this season but Jason Leffler and Brian Scott have been driving the majority of the races this season but they both suck.

It's only his first year in Nationwide, an obviously tougher series but he still has 5 top 5s and 9 top 10s in 17 races. That's a lot better results then some of the other drivers out there are doing in top equipment.

no, he's not THAT talented. He disrupts everything with his mother phucker rants. I'd knock his teeth out, because he isn't THAT talented.

We get it, you like Brad more then Kyle. Now you want to resort to violent acts? This just goes to show what one person would do for love. Your man crush has become down right scary over the last few weeks. :p
