Race thread

I hope the race is better than that anthem singing performance!
 
Oh the weather outside is frightful.
And the snow is so delightful.
And since we've no place to go,

And I'm trapped in with NASCAR racing on MRN Radio - LET'S GO RACIN' BOYS!
 
I'm going to try hard not to complain today. We've had a long, rough past few days and I've been looking forward to "escaping" for awhile by watching racing this afternoon :)
 
The feedback from the mikes spoiled it. Those guys do a Four Seasons tribute, so there had to be falsetto. ;)

Nope - just typical no FOX5 HD coverage.

Thing is channel 5 is DC coverage. Waldorf is on Baltimore news far more often than DC news but the cable systems give us DC news. Since this storm system is affecting the coast (Virginia, Maryland, Delaware), the DC channels don't care.

Pet peeve I've always had with the cable companies they should give us Baltimore, MD news channels.
 
Andy, watch the race instead of the weather. You can't do anything about either, so you might as well try and enjoy what's on the tube.

These guys ought to find a way to get a speedometer in their cars. They don't seem to be able to pay enough attention to the tach. What's the over/under for the number of speeding penalties?

They've talked about the tachometers before and the front row cars being the only ones to get an accurate reading.

You're right - time for speedomeeters. If NASCAR knows only the front 2 cars can get a fair, accurate reading for the pit road speed limit, they need to address that.

The number of digger views will be within 10 of the speeding tickets.

I'm with DW- the line is just in a bad spot. We saw with Joey's onboard- he barely made the limit, and he started braking on the banking since nobody was with him.
