Racing Name Game

Phil Barkdoll

Man, you got me by about a minute. I was gonna say Pinky Tuscadero. I'm pretty sure she dropped the flag for a drag race on Happy Days at the very least. She may have even had more to do with racing. I remember she rode motorcycles.

Pinky Tuscadero?! I don't know if there are any rules, but I think it has to be an actual person.;)

Steve is the MAN! It's too bad things didn't work out for him in NASCAR but he is where he belongs!!

Keke Rosberg

Former F1 Champ

Raymond Parks

NASCAR pioneer Raymond Parks, was the owner of the car that won its first championship. Parks was the last living member of the group that formed NASCAR in 1947 in a hotel in Daytona Beach, Fla when he died at age 96 in June, 2010.

Mario Andretti: One of only two drivers to win races in Formula One, IndyCar, World Sportscar Championship and NASCAR (the other being Dan Gurney). He was also featured in one of my favorite movies, Dust To Glory, as the Grand Marshall of the Baja 1000.

Paul Menard: One of five Cup drivers that got their first Cup win this season.

Christine Beckers, a Belgium driver, raced the Firecracker 400 in 1977. Her only NASCAR race.

and one of the best all-time names - no matter the genre...
