Rain delay chit-chat

Meanwhile, The Lions are playing like crap, yet still winning. They better get things going if they want to win the game.
 
I made it back with my pizza and large bag of m&m's and it doesn't look like I missed anything. So I'm ready when they do go green.
 
So, do you think this Championship battle will come down to the final race?

I think there's a strong possibility of that happening.

Mars is giving a million bags (probably those little promotional bags with 3 M&Ms in each one) to attract more kids to the 18 if the 18 wins the cup.
 
wait. If they come on ESPN2 where is drag racing going to get bumped to?
 
yoo k, they say the dryers are on the track, and my weather dealybob shows it is moving out...so they might get it in...dang I want to see who wins the thing.
 
So last week I had the race and my Mountaineers on the TV at the same time...tonight it is looking like I will have the race and the Niners on the TV at the same time...my remote is giving me death glares already...
 
Hell I've got all of the ESPN's, wherever it comes on I'll watch it, friends of mine go to a local sports bar and watch the races.
 
Can anyone explain why ESPN hates Gordon?

Down on their scrolling ticker they often show how the race is going, they would give you info on how the top 5+ others are doing and they go out of their way to not include Gordon in there.

Just now they show the top 5 then skipped to Dale Jr. who's 7th and Danica who's god knows where.

It seems unless Gordon is leading they go to great lengths to not mention him. lol
 
Listening to the officials channel on raceview and it sounds like they have the jet dryers out.
MRN radio says they will be back at 8:00 eastern.

You are supposed to be on ESPN2 watching endless highlights the same that are on at least three other channels..wondering when the freakin race is coming back on. they have a ticker..they all have a ticker scrolling non related nonsense across the bottom

I have it on mute while listening to music. :D

Red Sox gamee is starting soon so I'll watch that in the meantime.

Those officials tend to forget that anybody with a scanner can listen to them, they just told all of the support trucks to get on the track with the dryers.

Pretty blatant to skipped a number and go right to 7th. Maybe I should start a petition about it. lol
 
Any update on how the jet dryers are doing? Will they race tonight?
 
The officials on the radio saying they have everything on the track to try and get it going.

What does that mean? & why don't they run the cars around the track for a few laps to add some heat to the surface & quicken the drying process

Gordon was given the 13th spot in a 12 man chase and you're complaining about ticker space? You Gordon fans are never satisfied. ;)
