Ram Truck Team?

Its no different than the late '90s. Petty did the same thing. Although officially, the 43 RAM was under the Richard Petty Motorsports banner from 96-'98. It's really not that big of a deal. The real question is, will they move off the RCR campus, or is RCR coming too when Cup time comes?

I don't think there is room for a 5 truck team at RCR. Why would RCR want to switch? They are a supplier of Chevy engines. They would lose that I would think. RAM doesn't have Cup or O'reilly teams. Maybe in the distant future. Hell, Kaulig has their work cut out for them. The Truck series isn't a lay down, they have to hire people who know something about the series.

Nah the Cup will happen by '28. No way you join trucks and not go to Cup. Why would RCR jump? One last chance to be relevant again.

That's called the distant future in my book lol. They have to prove they can be a success in the Trucks and that remains to be seen, a long way to go. Trucks don't drive themselves, you got to have some good shoes. We'll see who they get.

Time for KFB to finally pick up that Truck title?

This would definitely not be a good hire.

Nah, Corey would be a good hire to start off with. He's been known to be really good with feedback to the team and I'm sure RAM would like his services. Racing record aside, I think he'd be a good fit for the brand to start off.

Maybe about three years down the line, maybe things will change. However, to build the team initially, he'd be a good hire. Also, he probably won't cost as much to pay.

Me personally, I'd LOVE to see Enfinger in this role for RAM.

Enfinger..much better, he knows how to win races
He's winning races where he is and not everyone wants to give that up.

Just saying, that would be awesome. However, you got to get who not only gets the vision of what the team wants, but who has experience and whom that wants to sacrifice to help build an organization.

This could be the lifeline for Corey to get back to Cup on a consistent basis.

Do I think he is the best option? No, but he has shown he's willing to sacrifice for fledgling projects, yes he has. Kinda of the same with Grant with CR9, but its already a top 10 truck every weekend just about.

I think Corey has the ability to win race(s) on a good truck team if he runs full time. He has 2 top 5s in his 2 truck races this year.

I made my opinion on the ratio of wrecking himself, wrecking others and other stupid B.S. to how many times he had over driven the car to a better finish than it deserved. Other opinions will vary.

Butterbean makes sense, but I don't understand how the nut puncher keeps getting these great opportunities
To be honest, Dye has performed beyond expectations in Xfinity for his rookie season. He's only like one spot behind Eckes on the standings. I think he could win an odd race if he continues on the track he's on.

Been solidly in the top 12 to 15 most weekends. As FL mentioned, his family has connections within the sport as well.

Queen and Dye would be good ones if the rumor is true. They just need to be pointed to the track and they would do the rest. Queen besides being good on the track is a good personality when interviewed. Dye is already racing for Kaulig.
