Truly ignorant question: I see a logo on several firesuits but I don't know the company involved. It looks like a lowercase 'a', or maybe an 'e' jammed up against a five-pointed star. It's usually on shoulder epaulets. Would someone tell me what this company is and / or what they do?

Why did the Daytona 500 starting lineup change from what was announced (shown) after Duels?
 
I noticed Bowyer's helmet for the 500 had rust painted on it. I thought it was funny - maybe it was a comment about his time away from a competitive car.

I really wish that this track was on the Trucks, Xfinity and ARCA schedule. Such a bad ass track, with Martinsville showing off their lighting system tonight a part of me is envious wishing it was Wilkesboro. Wish I had an extra 10 mil or so laying around

My father and I could only put our butts in Andy's seats once each race, and we did for all but one event. He doesn't own it any more, and I just realized I no longer feel any loyalty to the place; just nostalgia.

Life happens.
