Amazon has the Kindle version for Buddy Baker's book --- Flat Out and Half-Turned Over.
It's hilarious reading.
So perhaps they should go back to the system where the team with the most points actually wins the championship, rather than end the season with a contrived drama mini series that ends up with an all-or-nothing race for four teams. Did the “best” overall points winning team win this season? I don’t think so.A proposal for NASCAR's points format:
.
1st: 200 points
2nd: 190
3rd: 185
4th: 180
5th: 175
6th: 170
7th: 165
8th: 160
9th: 155
10th: 150
11th-39th: Decrease by intervals of 5, 39th pays 5 points
40th: 1
Bonus points:
+5 for winning the most races
+5 for fastest lap
+5 for fastest pit stop
+5 for qualifying on the pole
+5 for leading the most laps
Stages stay as is though and pay the same amount.
Hi, new guy. We've kicked this one around multiple times over the years. Be prepared to have some agree with you completely, some partially, and others not at all.So perhaps they should go back to the system where the team with the most points actually wins the championship, rather than end the season with a contrived drama mini series that ends up with an all-or-nothing race for four teams. They're actually going to have voting before they just give it to chase?
