As if the Gerbils didn't already have enough to squeal about, now they can fret over the battle for third.

While my initial reaction was "Nip it in the bud, Andy!", it has no effect on the racing. With one of the largest fields of any major auto racing series, and arguably the most competitive, finishing third in Cup is more celebration-worthy than doing so in a 20-car field. It's not like I watch post-race very often anyway.

In his defense, it's hard to do. I tried to do it for Ty Gibbs and got an error ~grins~

At the end of this season, I am going to attempt to "predict" how strong a driver he'll be next year.

Granted, there's a massive variable in play on his seat at Gibbs, but statistically his drop off next year should only be about 5% from age. Interestingly, I hadn't thought about factoring in Cup time, though.

It is a cooling package is about all I can find. They get to try it the first practice and after that practice they have to make a choice between keeping it or not using it.
