Seriously, Kyle's performance was a COVID victim almost exactly five years ago. After a COVID shutdown, NASCAR returned to racing in 2020 but without P&Q. Even after 45-minute to 1-hour practice sessions returned, they still hasn't been enough for Kyle to get his cars the way he wants. Apparently he needs 2+ hours to fine tune. Toyota or Chevy, it hasn't made much difference although he had better cars when he was with JRG.

RCR isn't showing up with cars that are ready to go or close to it. Kyle said in Austin they showed up with a 30th place car and because they had two long practice sessions they had a winning car.
