Rate The Cup Race: Darlington

I like Darlington, it is a different kind of race. Drivers have to balance tire wear with passing attempts. It it a strategic race and an endurance race. I was cheering for Larson but Kez and his crew deserve credit for the perfect pit stop at the right time. The old car colors are great, I was reminded of the old days - only way faster on the track.

I usually don't rate Southern 500's against other races because it's different than all the rest, very long race on a track with a narrow racing groove. Having said that, I'm generously giving it a 6 as far as other Southern 500's go.

I can't give it a fair rating since I was mainly watching LSU, but from what I seen it was not good except the winner

8.5 overall a very good race, not a big fan of Kez but he seemed to play it smart by saving his car till the end. Darlington sure seems to test driver skills and stamina.
