Rate The Race: Richmond II

My rating: 9. That was exciting!

For some reason, races that bring out the ugliest in people tend to be the most exciting. Close racing and tire strategy made the race more interesting than usual as well.

That said, I missed the first half of the race, and there were a lot of cautions, so perhaps my rating should be lower.

9 exciting, even to the end when Larson almost pulled off the win. A few tempers flair which is gonna happen with a good short track night race.

I didn't mind the numerous cautions tonight. It made the strategy interesting and they did pretty good with quick cleanup and keeping us up on what was happening (nonstop).

The last 100 laps were pretty entertaining, but the plethora of cautions throughout the race ruined a lot of the excitement for me. With that said, this is still the best track to end the regular season due to it being a short track and having multiple grooves.

Unbiased? 8
Biased? 10. Another good run for Larson.

Take the 8 as official.

76 gazillion. TRD baby.

24 cars being shown finishing on the lead lap is such a farce and screams "CHARITY" in my ears as maybe a third of that number were true lead lap cars. I understand that 99.9% of the fans don't notice things like this and wouldn't care even if they did but it sticks in my craw and I don't have a craw remover lol. I won't rate the race but I will give the Battle at Bristol a 10 as it was entertaining and a lot of fun to see and hear.

I enjoyed the bubble race, the mid packers got more coverage than usual (and I try to follow some of them). The outlaw formation for the parade lap was cool, I appreciate the number of cars that race. It's been awhile where tire management was an issue (in the past big teams would buy tires from other teams - I wonder if that is not allowed now). There was plenty of passing though out the field. Even the guy who sang the national anthem was way above average.

We notice, but our DeFrancifier tool is in the same box with your craw remover. Other than spawning discussions, there isn't much value in fretting over that which we cannot change. It's only sports.
