Rate the race: Texas I

This is "Rate the race", not "Rate the finishing order". There have been plenty of instances where my driver finished poorly yet I still rated the race 9+, and others where my driver finished well and I rated the race a 3 or less. RATE. THE. RACE. Yes...this is one of my biggest pet peeves

Are you seriously expecting objectivity on the Interwebs? o_O

Awesome race and I love the way the young guns are up on the wheel during the stages.
Looks like those over 40 should retire when you check the stats.
I vote MK be the first.

I would have thought being there live and watching Larson come from the back to the front several times would have been great.

Please don't interpret my post as a negative- I enjoyed the race, and always enjoy going to races! (though I've left some races unhappy in the past- say if Jeff wrecked).

Usually, I would primarily focus on Jeff Gordon and whoever he's racing around. This race, there were several drivers I followed; Kyle Larson was one of them.

After Ryan Blaney lost the lead due to bad pit strategy, I followed him as well hoping to see him race to the front again, not realizing he had pit issues.

Watching races in person is so much different than watching on TV (how I watch most races), it wouldn't be fair to rate this race like normal.
