Richmond race thread

The IndyCar drivers ran slick tires, in a downpour, at Baltimore. Time for the NASCAR drivers to grow some balls.

Would they have done this if Gordon or Kyle were on pole? Giving those guys some free laps lead could of had an outcome on the chase spot.

Can they do that on non-street/road course tracks?

A few years ago at Martinsville, they raced in very light rain on slicks. Hell, I've seen asphalt late models race at Old Dominion (an already extremely slick POS racetrack) in a downpour on slicks.

Martinsville and Richmond are two very different speeds for short tracks, the speeds they run here I'm not quite sure it would work but that's just how I've heard things about them.

Richmond's as much an exciting short track as Texas is.

I'm pulling for the "All Blacks"...they have the gitgo off the scrum usually.

ooops...nevermind mate.

Just one more shower left before it's completely past. It shouldn't be a big rain, so hopefully it wont postpone the race for tomorrow.

Awesome. The small area of light rain I said not to worry about earlier has grown larger and heavier. Should start raining again any moment now.
