Even last year he did nothing of consequence. I remember at one point he had only 1 top 10 like 20 races in or something. He hung around in points by not having any DNF's. As a whole though Roush has been pitiful, the fact that Edwards has 2 wins is a more a fluke than anything; as both had a lot more to do with caution/pit cycle circumstances than having the best car.
This year Austin Dillon is kind of doing the same thing, points racing and is hanging around in the standings, but has done nothing to show he's competitive and capable of winning races. I think Dillon's only top 10's are at Daytona so far.
