Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay go AJ yayayayayayay!
This was a great race for me -- the driver I was rooting for won, my fav normal NW driver got second and moved up to second in the standings, and Jaques was not in a race car! He was a sweetheart in victory lane too. If Penske knows what's good for him he would snatch AJ up and put him in a full time ride.
Papis has every right to be pissed, but the slap was uncalled for. I would penalize the man.
Billy Johnson did make a couple Villanueve like moves (like the one that took out Papis) but I still think he's a great road ringer. It would take a few more moves like that to get me to dislike him.
Man, gotta love (Jimmie) Johnson, but I'm biased. Who's vanilla now?
Props to a couple drivers kicking road course ass -- Bayne who previously has sucked at road courses almost got a top 5 before he blew a transmission, Larson in his first road course start got 7th despite a spin, and Regan Smith who has little road course experience (for his first few years in cup he sat out the road courses) ran great before getting swept up in two incedents that were not his fault.
