Sears Point 350k

Another good day for Roush, I wonder when Jack's gonna complain about the horsepower advantage the Ford and Dodge cars have lately.

Awesome driving by Kurt. Never would have picked him to dominate a road course, unbelievable.

Yeah I don't approve of what he did but that's the attitude that made him a champion. Not this watered down version he's became.

Yeah he didn't need to wreck Vickers but it is the attitude that got him the championship before so maybe we can see another one soon hopefully.

Nice interview Kahne, you dick.

I don't understand why anyone complains about being dumped at a road course, thats part of it if the guy behind you is faster.

Kahne had a legit beef i thought.

I don't think so, to me that's part of road racing. If a guy blocks on a road course, or anywhere for that matter, he should expect to be dumped. I did like his smart ass interview though, don't agree with him but I liked it. He seems to be growing some balls lately.

I think there's no such thing now as "road course ringers" at the Cup level. Our Cup drivers are the best drivers in the world. I think it's time to put the term "road course ringer" on the shelf.

Yeah, road course ringers aren't exactly, um, ringing and never have been.

totally agree. that's why smoke dumped vicker's (although he was wrong about vicker's blocking). anybody that gets dumped while blocking has no reason to complain.

Yep! That Ringer deal ended 6 years ago or so..Ambrose?? Did he race today??

I've been saying that for years. You can go back to the early 90's and see that. Those "ringers" have done fairly well in the lower ranks, but when they go up against the Cup regulars, they are really just also rans.

I thought the interviews with Vickers and Stewart were great. Both of them didn't hold back...well Vickers started to, but he finally let it all out. I do believe that when drivers do that after the race, they get over their angst a lot sooner. Personally I don't think we'll see much from either of them towards one another in the future.

I did not see it as blocking, Tony had already got in to him before he moved down to give the slow car of Kyle room.

One of the best races of the year, imo.

I wonder if Vickers chose to payback Stewart specifically in turn 11 or it was just a coincidence? Seems he could have turned Stewart anywhere on the racetrack, but I suppose Vickers knew the tires and wall in turn 11 would cause heavy damage.:idunno:
