Sears Point 350k

I just wonder why Tony gave up so quickly for when he went bull hunting at the end of the race?

His car was too jacked up to maintain speed, it was driving sideways.

I was watchin the race live til I had to go to work....but I DVR'd it.......just saw Vickers turn TS...and to see the 14 sitting there with its butt up on the tires was one of the funniest things I seen in ages....Lol:D

One of the best races of the year, imo.

I wonder if Vickers chose to payback Stewart specifically in turn 11 or it was just a coincidence? Seems he could have turned Stewart anywhere on the racetrack, but I suppose Vickers knew the tires and wall in turn 11 would cause heavy damage.:idunno:

Maybe that's were Tony got him?

Seems I heard a little radio traffic that TNT was playing while Stewart was hunting, said something about Vickers was somewhere else on the track. My guess is Tony couldn't justify to himself driving his car that slow around the track and wait.

I think he just new that his car couldn't run long enough to get back to Vickers. I doubt anything else will happen between the two and it wouldn't surprise me if Vickers ends up in a 3rd car next year for Stewart.

NASCAR: Can we have more road courses, please?

I keep saying this too. I think if NA$CAR ran more road courses their ratings would go way up. I'd like to see them do at least 4 road courses a year. Sonoma, Watkins Glen, Barber Motorsports Park, & Laguna Seca.

I dunno about Laguna Seca. I don't think anyone could make it through the corkscrew in a cup car:eek:

No one agreed with Tony... Vickers wasn't blocking.. Tony deserved what he got!!:beerbang:

I'd rather see them change the July 4th weekend Daytona night race to the Daytona road course and drop that third of four restrictor plate races. Run it similar to the Rolex race and put a time limit rather than lap limit. Start it @ 6:00pm and have it run until 11:00pm. Wet tires if necessary. :beerbang:

That would be fun to watch!

Yea that's a good one the reason I said Laguna Seca that would give NA$CAR 2 races on each side of the country. Maybe NA$CAR could race on the new F1 track in Austin, Texas.
The latest designs I saw, I'm not sure the austin track would be good for stock cars..looks like a cross between laguna and sonoma, in the technical standpoint. Almost like Indy's infield course, but with elevation changes.

It has the nice long straights, but some of those corners would be just asking for a traffic jam.

Can Kurt Busch pull off what only 4 drivers have, and sweep the road courses for the year?

1998/1999-Jeff Gordon
2003-Robby Gordon
2005-Tony Stewart
2008-Kyle Busch

If his car is that hot at the Glen, I think he has a chance. That car Sunday was dead on.

Yikes... that last corner before the start finish looks like major trouble!
