Shortest Thread Ever

Monday, Penske backed his driver.

"The Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup has provided great excitement and intense competition," Penske said in a statement released by the team. "Brad Keselowski is a champion who competes to win in every race, which is what I expect of him. While the actions by others following the race in Texas were unfortunate, Brad has my 100 percent support as we now move on to Phoenix for the next stage of the NASCAR championship."

and from Brad:
"A lot of my strength personally comes from my team, whether that's the guys who work on the team or my boss, Roger Penske," Keselowski said Sunday night. "If Roger Penske came up to me tomorrow and said, 'Brad, you drove that race wrong, you shouldn't have done what you did,' it would affect me. But the management team at Penske tells me to drive the way I did and tells me there's nothing to be ashamed of and continues to support me. And they're my boss. My boss isn't the other drivers in the field. My boss is them.

Brads fast. He puts himself in bad spots. Can't say anything bad about not having talent. He's shown more than most newcomers in the last decade.. But he's reckless like a rookie. Probably always will be.

I like that Brads not polished. Gordon and JJ could almost be the same person sometimes. Brad is Brad no one quite like him. Yeah he is brash...but racing is his life...thats why the kyle comparsion. Brads loves to drive the wheels off. Sometimes literally.

Does this mean you have forgiven him ;)

No. This is some Kurt Busch/Martinsville boot ****. Depending on next week, I'll be feeling this for a looooonnnggg tiiiiimmeee.

*disclaimer* I put fault of the accident on both drivers but the 2 more-so sorry..
Carry on.

I will flip him off for you Sunday :D

Brads an awesome driver. I actually don't have problems with him. I just think there was no hole. :D I just feel he went about his....pass the wrong way. Would've had just as good or better a finish had he not darted for that "opening".

But anyway, BradLove.

That's fair. Like others have already said, it's pretty much a matter of opinion.

I'm a little surprised at the massive uproar over that move, though. Brad has done far crazier things on the track this year alone.

I agree. You'd think Brad turned Gordo into the wailing wall. Wait....maybe he did???

The Kez Dispenser thread :D lol

Also... yes, I am a fan of his.

I am a fan of Brad.

When I was little I was given a #2 Miller Lite Rusty Wallace car and became a fan until he retired. When he retired, I wasn't sure who to root for anymore so I worked my way over to Gibbs Racing (Redskins fan). I just didn't feel right rooting for anyone there...More like I just cant root against them. I became a full fan of Brad with the way he raced with his broken ankle. How many have the toughness to do that? I am sure there have been others tough enough to race through other injuries but since I was looking for someone to root for at the same time, I turned to rooting for Brad. For anyone who forgot the ankle...

Please keep your venom out of here. Remember what your mom said.......... If you can't say anything nice......
LOL. I hear you, man, but good luck with that. ;)

Honestly, we could probably just merge this with the actual Brad Keselowski thread, which by now is probably all about someone totally different.

Man, we're a hot mess. Poor TRL.

I've got no problem with Keselowski, on or off the track.

However, once he's out of the car he needs to learn to cover his backside to keep other drivers from coming up from behind and giving him a cheap shot.

I can't understand why only 2 or 3 of his crew were there. They had to know what would go down.
