Congratulations! You have just won the 2012 drama queen award! Obviously 2012 is far from it's conclusion but it's unlikely that anyone will out perform your post. Be on the lookout for details on how to obtain your prize package.

You see what's happening right ? All these non-Nascar fans are voting to park Danica and skewing the poll . Danica fan is going to have to be allowed to vote multiple times .

..... "Boys have at it" is going to get someone killed.

As a big fan of 'boys have at it ' I couldn't let this statement go unchallanged . Non Nascar fans would not be aware of the state that Nascar was in prior to 'boys have at it ' . Nascar had fallen into the rut of micro managing the sport, to the extent that the big day of the week was Tuesday ,when the fines were announced and not Sunday , when the race was run. Drivers were not only being fined for petty 'on track' incidents , but dozens of stupid off track incidents, including swearing and kicking their dogs . Fans were leaving and colorful drivers were being pushed out . The sport had to change or die . After 'boys have at it' ,there were some ugly incidents as drivers tested the limits ,but they soon found that retaliation brought on more retaliation . Now the sport is back to where it should be , rough and tumble , but not as wild as you think it is. It's not F 1 and it's not Saturday night derby at Bowman Grey.

I can't believe we are spending so much time talking about a driver (danica) who isn't worth the words we type.

She sucks. She can't drive the car. Why do we care so much?

Well , first ,folks like you keep bringing her up , Second ,she is female and there aren't many others in cup , Third , she is bringing in new fans ,Fourth , she is bringing in new sponsors ,Fifth , she is bringing in a hell of a lot of new media coverage , etc

NO. I asked, "Why doe we keep talking about her".

You listed some reasons that don't make sense.

She's female? And, she's not the only one racing. There are others. ESPN just doesn't give them credit, even though they have breasts like most women. Except Danica.

New fans? Great for you and ESPN, I don't care. She can't drive. That's obvious.

Sponsors? Go Daddy made it to CUP level before Danica DUDE. And as far as sponsors, blame NASCAR for stealing the #1 demographic, cellphone users.

Media Coverage? Seriously, like we don't have enough to talk about already?

If there is anything that we should be talking about in reference to Danica it is this:

She is the first person I can recall that gets a top notch ride without the ability to drive.

This is due to the marketing genius at GODADDY.COM.

NOTHING ELSE.

If Jenniffer Jo Cobb had that juggernaught behind her, she would be in the same equipment.

Danicas attitude drives the car, not skill, not talent, not anything worth being behind the wheel.

And if she were able to finish top ten in the Nationwide series?

She's driven in like 35 stock car races in her entire life. Most of her competitors grew up driving stock cars. Shouldn't she be allowed time to develop? I scan her during every race and she improves during the course of each race. To say that "she sucks" and "isn't worth discussing" is just lazy and wrong.

Could we give Stephen Wallcace, "Time to Develop?"

It could be said, then, that those who grew up driving stock cars deserve a ride ahead of her. That is one slippery slope right there.

How does one determine what one deserves? Does an ugly but superior actress deserve a role in a movie more than the beautiful blonde?

Performance combined with experience, maybe?

I guess my point was that her lack of experience shouldn't be used to defend her anymore than it should be used against her.

Now we know what you do during the races. ;)

I would like to point out the career of Merryl Streep. She barely makes the 'handsome woman' catagory, but has won 3 Oscars.

Could we give Stephen Wallcace, "Time to Develop?"

Stephen Wallace has 192 NWS starts, he had plenty of opportunities. He has 6 top fives, that averages to less than one top 5 per 30 races.

He had a countless number of dumb WTF moments. Buffurd T Justice had more reasons to be proud than Rusty.

Rusty if you are reading this go slap that boy. It won't help him, but it will be good for me. The voice of many a tortured fans cry out for justice.

I will testify against him on the the final day of judgement. I will demand the hell fire and damnation. It ain't personal but I saw NASCAR fans suffer whilst he was getting his opportunity. Hopefully that's over now, picking up rocks and stoning him will complete the sad affair.

As was mentioned, Steven Wallace had plenty of time to develop, and literally grew up in stock cars. Hell, he's been had 5 full season in NNS, and hasn't improved at all.

Crap the wife is standing over my shoulder and reading as I type the inspiring words.

But she ain't stopping my stupid, We are at the Chicago Ohair airport and I am studying up on the women.Doing detailed quality reviews looking for another go deddy Danica strutting in heels.

If I see an angry one rattling cages, well I will........ just type about her that's all..

The misses is a people watcher too. I have her busy listening to pansey rock on the ipod as I post, a good diversion. You have to think ahead to make the sleazy moments count

Yeah! Stone his a*s! LMAO

My favorites are the Steve vs Brian Scott episode, and the one where Spencer gets on Steven for hitting 2 parked cars. Funny stuff.

Perhaps my post on Steven Wallace was ambiguous.

Danica is definitely more talanted, and say what may about her flashing some skin, she didn't start with SWs wasted birthright privileged opportunity.

I think the raw talent or potential exsist. I understad that a deal like Godaddy has to pursue a high end series. It would be insane to leave the the Indy 500 for the East or even the truck series.

But I would still like for her to run as many as she could. The seat time would be invaluable, winning an East race would also establish at little swagger.

Just get out there on a Saturday night bull ring, and get more acclimated to the big heavy metal learn what the car needs. That's power, if she wants to do more than running decent it is a must.

The positives are infinite. Go on the road with the crew, let them see the driving fool, a maniac that's going to close the deal. Let them bond believing you are more than a face, you are their driver

But more than anything else, it internally cements the point that you the driver. I don’t think she is there yet. It is a critical milestone, to sense that you are ready, that you are among the best.

The most important person to convince is yourself.

Good post Greg . Couldn't help thinking how well it would apply to Juan Pablo .It's tough playing catch up with these guys that grew up on short tracks .

Can someone on here tell me..... Were Danica and Sam called to the NASCAR hauler yesterday? I didn't watch coverage during the day yesterday or the pre-race from last nights race. Were any details released or was it what's said in the hauler stays in the hauler?

Don't know , but I can't imagine that there was anything left to say . Both sides gave pretty good apologies and acknowledged their part in it .No easier place than Darlington to dump the other if they had a mind to.
