You sound like the kind of audience that new show is looking for.
Thing is, my idea of a good reality show is Barnwood Builders, or Maine Cabin Masters.
and the tree house bullders and American Pickers.
What's the worst that could happen? None of you are forced to watch. Plus on the off chance it becomes a huge success, then it's good for NASCAR.
The existing audience of CMT would probably have some amount of interest in the show (educated guess) so who knows maybe it could be a hit.

uugggghhhh....a big NEGATIVE for me. I will not watch staged, rehearsed "reality" where some yahoo is all bent out of shape because they don't like their haircut. If they want me to tune in go find Martha Elliot (Bills fist wife), Shana Mayfield or Buffy Waltrp. There could be some interesting stories there. Tell some "real" stuff that fans don't know about. Who gives a rip about a bunch of pampered trophy wives? I recall NASCAR 360. mercifully, it didn't last too long. I for one hope this tripe never sees the light of day.

Good idea until it gets better rating than a race.
I say no because the women on these types of shows are made to look like b****s. They want conflict to make the show interesting. Really, that is the only way to make it interesting. This will reflect on the drivers, not in a good way IMO.

I won't be watching. That doesn't mean I don't care about what they do.

Recently when I was traveling I stopped for the evening and turned the TV on. I don't know what the show was called but it had a bunch of women who were well acquainted with Botox. The program should have been called A-Flock-A-Lips-Now.
There's one that they'll want to stay the same and act normal then.
I'm a bit appalled y'all know this much about this type of program.There has to be someone to pick on.
I love the smell of Botox in the morning. It smells like .... victory.

I am with you on this one with the Force family. I also liked the show from early 2000's with Busch, Bowyer, Kenny Wallace and not sure who else. But my all time favorite was Madhouse about the modifieds at Bowman Gray about 7 years ago. Regardless of how much is staged it still provides insight into the personnel side of the sport. I will take these any day over ridiculous shows like the bachelor and big brother.They did a reality show on John Force and his family a few years ago and I actually liked it. I also bought the DVD and I still watch a few episode from time to time. It didn't seem to hurt drag racing any so I doubt it will hurt NASCAR either. But, if it's going to be about the drivers wives then they really should leave the shower scenes in for better reality. "Just kidding"

Not bad on CMT if they are allowed to go through with this. Samantha, Ashley, and Jordan are all connected to big names. On other Athlete wives shows the women are either divorced or not married to anyone of note.

If certain nascar fans would like to see more about the drivers personal lives, this could be used to satiate them and thus keep the special interest interviews and “family vision” from popping up on race day.
From a marketing stand point this could be a win win.
I see and I agree.
I don’t think this will interest the average fan.

Or really fans in general.
Its about finding new fans.
So since this board is full of who the target market isn’t, the commentary will be nothing but doom and gloom.

Probably not. But it might interest their daughters or wives. They see Samantha and Whitney and become fans... then they beg the actual nascar fan in their life to take them to a race so they might see them. Boom. You’ve got a new fan and are selling extra tickets.
