Southern 500 RACE thread -- Darlington

On the 42, I think it's the satin wrap they use. It needs to be high gloss
And the numbers being a different color, and the green on the lower rear panel/bumper not being bright green doesnt help it either. It close though, a hell of a lot closer than last's years attempt, that was just awful.

Showing that picture of Jr in the Goodwrench uni reiterates the point he really did grow up in the sport and public eye.

I’d be okay if they got Bob Jenkins too
Bob said he has ZERO interest in coming back to the booth.

I would love to post the source but I cant remember where it was he said that.

‘Weather’ might have something more to say about this race, before too much longer

Chip Ganassi is running 1-2, excellent showing from them at what I believe to be NASCAR's toughest track to master.

I miss watch Mark Martin race. Smartest racer I’ve ever seen.

Great battle between 9 and 22. Don’t use up your stuff fellas!

I’ve never heard the word momentum used at Darlington as much as I’ve heard tonight

Sad, innit?

He does the PA at Indy every May. A nice trip down memory lane watching the live streams.

Wonder what they do if it rains. Isn’t official until after Stage 2, and everyone has to leave tomorrow because of the hurricane..

It is interesting. I feel like they’ll desperately try to get this thing to be official. Whereas other occasions they’d just try the next day. It might work out fine anyhow. Just something the teams are probably checking

I'm honestly pulling for Kurt get his long-awaited Darlington redemption.
