I fell in love with a Maine Coon at DFW airport, of all places. He was so relaxed and laid back, I thought he was sedated for travel. His owner said no, that's just their personality-----real laid back.

I even picked him up and held him----all 20 pounds of cat. He didn't mind a stranger, just laid there looking at me.

Come to think of it, I have never seen cats have spam in public. Not during the day anyway. But I've heard them at night. Noisy devils.

As for dogs, we have leash and poop & scoop laws here. So I guess as long as they have a leash on and the owner carries a plactic bag or something, it's OK for them to have spam.
