Sprint Cup - Coca-Cola 600 Race

The meat will practically fall off of the bones
BBQ judges say that falling off the bone is overdone. I guess I like my ribs overdone.

I bake mine at 250 for 6 hours wrapped in foil. I use a product called Butt Rub. Sometimes I finish them on the grill with Sweet Baby Ray's. And never under ANY circumstance would I boil ribs. The shame would be too much to bear.

I don't boil them either - many folks I have talked to are against the crock pot - but I just do a slow simmer on low - it does about the same thing and the same amount of fat gets cooked off and I don't have to worry about cleaning the oven.

As a single guy I NEVER use the oven for fear of having to clean it - I make do with my surface burners, microwave, outdoor deep fat fryer, and Webber grill ;)

Having thought about this - I bet my Grandma (bless her soul) would get a kick out of my saying I only use 4 cooking methods instead of the 5 most folks use...

Ooops - Tony going backwards on pit row now - what next Smoke?

P.S. - that was a helluva job getting turned around and back to his spot.
