I was also wondering why they had playoff points in the last race but I forgot there are teams still trying to improve their standing, probably due to the lack of race coverage of the field.

I think every driver who is eliminated from the playoff should loose the bonus points and be put back into the normal points standings. (That would be every car except the cup champion).

Off on a tangent here but that's what I love about going to a race. There's always at every race these smaller races within the race where you'll see a couple of drivers battling each other all day. On TV they never show any of that and at Homestead if it ain't the final 4 forget it. I tune my headset to PRN or MRN at the track. Sometimes that too is annoying but I like it much better than the TV coverage.
