Starlink Quantum Internet (Project Odin)

There is a Tesla phone coming also.:booya:
Can only imagine how expensive their phone/phones & service will be. I've got one of their dishes and subscribe to their internet service only a couple months a year during our annual vacations. It's worth it to us during those times because phone service is nonexistent where we vacation. Other than for that reason, we'd never have it.

I travel throughout the US and Canada, both coast to coast and border to border. I don't find many interruptions in my AT&T service other than small areas in the mountains out west in both the US & Canada. I stream from my phone and tablet constantly throughout m my day and would immediately know of a disruption in service. I'll be taking a pass on Elon's satellite phone project.

When my wife and I go rv'ing, we are seeing more and more Starlink antennas being used. A lot of people are using them to work remotely. They'd be worth every penny for someone lucky enough to be in that situation. Speeds are incredibly fast and reliable. Their newer mini antenna even works in motion.

I have Verizon and am very happy with their service where I am. I mentioned the Tesla phone as an information statement. But I feel sure it will market very very well.

Verizon's service is also good when traveling around this country. I switched from them because they didn't offer unlimited data in Canada while AT&T did. They may have changed inn the part couple years, I don't know.

Yeah, I'm sure you're correct, they'll be a huge market for the Tesla phone.

Ya know, in the Marvel comic books, there was a evil automaton named Ultron. Each time he came back, he had an incremented number as part of his name - Ultron 5, Ultron 6, Ultron 7, etc. Someone pointed out it may not be a good idea to remind heroes of how many times you've had your @$$ kicked.

I don't put Musk down because he's successful. I put him down because his approach to reducing the government is counter-productive.
How is stopping or reducing waste of our tax dollars, counter productive? I knew it was going to be painful to a lot of overpaid government leeches and the folks entirely supported on the government tit.

What has been happening to TESLA dealerships is pure unbridled terrorism.

It's not the goal, it's the methods. For example, terminating all 'probationary' employees without first determining what they do; how well they're doing it; whether they're actually new to government employment vs. being in a new position after years or decades of service; and then having to hire many of them back again when they proved essential. There's also the question of who actually is in charge of this project (assuming the entire approach is Constitutional) and how much authority there is over other Cabinet agencies. Both Trump and Musk regularly alternate between saying Musk is responsible and then he's not. There's the failure to understand records in the Social Security antiquated database and its 2-digit birth years, leading to misunderstandings about how many people over 100 are receiving benefits. There's also the inability of both Trump and Musk to admit they may have made a mistake.

'Move fast and break things' is an acceptable approach for a private industry that does one thing, and whose customers have alternatives if the company has problems. It's a poor approach to the equivalent of a multinational conglomerate whose customers have no other options should management make poor decisions. This is more like 'Ready, shoot, ... aim'.

What's the damn rush? It took almost 250 years to get to this point; it doesn't have to be fixed in 250 days. This project would get a more buy-in if they'd slow down, plan for what they're going to do, and explain in detail the benefits of each step. Believe it or not, some government agencies and employees actual provide good value for the dollar.

It is not incumbent on anyone to buy from anyone they do not respect, it certainly isn't terrorism, don't like somebody don't buy from them plain amd simple, that's the free market.

I would agree with calling it terrorism if someone was violently or forcefully trying to prevent someone that wanted to buy a Tesla from buying one.

He has also benefited greatly from government subsidizing or the peoples money. He should do some self purging of his own, before trying to chainsaw everyone else.

That is to make it easier for the crooks to do what they do reducing the US's ability to collect revenue. The orange one did that last time along with giving the richest in the country a tax break. You didn't get squat BTW.
Musk hasn't found any corruption or you would have heard about it. He and his bunch of no background check, security clearance weasels are screwing up more than they fix.

It amazes me how folks put down productive successful people.
He lives off the government tit. We shouldn't be subsidizing somene to the extent that we do with him, when they will use or withold those services to work against our own GEO policies or interest.

Our own military has a stated goal of not being political and he should have the same principles when it comes to managing a highly subsidized by the government organization (especially with one's that are connected to national defense.

Multiple audits show for each additional dollar allocated ro the IRS results in an additional $5 to $8 of income. Reducing the IRS means more tax fraud will go undetected, not reduced. Another case of taking action without understanding the benefits and consequences.

Unless your goal isn't really reducing tax fraud and maximizing legitimate tax income.
