This was discussed in the silly season thread. But I think this deserves its own topic. It will be interesting to see if this is true and how ponies up to buy them. We know Josh Berry will be in the #4. Who will be in the second car?
If Dale Jr. wants to get into Cup, here is his chance.
Makes sense. Also if you are worried charters go away after 2024, then you got back $80-100 million on an asset that would then be worth $0 in 16 months time.Today on SiriusXM Jordan Bianchi says as many as two Stewart-Haas charters could be for sale, more...
He also said that it's almost certain Aric Almirola retires and that Smithfield is not staying on with a new driver. The lack of sponsors is the main reason charters could be up for grabs but also said they could demand $40M-$50M each.
Pockrass doesn't tweet out anything until it's about to become official. As far as I know, there's no fire or even smoke behind this rumor. Did I miss an article??? A tweet from Pockrass? Anything other than reddit posts...?

I really hope that doesn't happen. Toyota dropping to what 4 cars would be horrible. IMO there hasn't been a better time for Dodge to enter, especially on the Truck sideSo, this is starting to make sense. SHR is shrinking.....Ford goes after 23XI. Denny in a bargaining positive position IMO. I need to go take my ulcer medication. **** me.
It’ll be at least six either way with Legacy joining.I really hope that doesn't happen. Toyota dropping to what 4 cars would be horrible. IMO there hasn't been a better time for Dodge to enter, especially on the Truck side

Dodge isn't coming back to NASCAR. What would they have to offer? The Charger and Challenger are going away and will be replaced by EVs.I really hope that doesn't happen. Maybe not cup but we have dodge in the Nascar Pintys seriesDodge isn't coming back to NASCAR. What would they have to offer? The Charger and Challenger are going away and will be replaced by EVs.
Until NASCAR goes hybrid then EV.Dodge isn't coming back to NASCAR. What would they have to offer? The Charger and Challenger are going away and will be replaced by EVs.
The latter of these is never gonna happen.Until NASCAR goes hybrid then EV.
Evolution. The latter of these is never gonna happen.
And NASCAR was never going to run at Indianapolis or a street course either. Or fuel injection, or power steering, or one lug nut, or...The latter of these is never gonna happen.

If the manufacturers want to run EVs, NASCAR will find a series for them.

I don't think the electric NASCAR Series that has been discussed will never come but the Cup Series running 100% battery-electric cars? No way, no one wants to see that and NASCAR knows that.People need to make peace with it because it’s gonna happen.
They're introducing a Hydrogen class in Le Mans in a few years. Several other championships are introducing or have already introduced synthetic or biological fuels and I actually would like to see NASCAR do the same. It could also be helpful for the development of synthetic fuels for road cars.Hydrogen. Keep the V8's, sounds the same, HP is the same. Almost 0 polution
This is a bit long, but it's an educating type clip. LS V8 Chevy motor, very similar to a cup motor. They're introducing a Hydrogen class in Le Mans in a few years. Welp to get back on topic in Jeff Burton voice (read each sentence as one word).F'n thread twisters got this thing in la la land.

IF this happens, this will be the greatest setback for Toyota since WE came into the sport. TRD creates specific goals, and achieves them. David has said that this generation of car necessitates increased car counts. That was the goal. If it doesn't happen, this is a HUGE setback. HUGE.....and puts us behind for the foreseeable future. I think that 23XI was positioning itself to take over the flagship team from JGR....MJ as part of the Toyota family was pretty cool too. This is a pivotal point in Toyota's involvement in this sport.....and if you think Denny isn't aware of that, you haven't been paying attention.I really hope that doesn't happen. Toyota dropping to what 4 cars would be horrible. IMO there hasn't been a better time for Dodge to enter, especially on the Truck side
