Stirling Moss

One of the greatest F1 drivers to never win the championship.

That's okay, not every great driver or athlete wins a championship all the time. Going to miss watching Goodwood and seeing him drive.

RIP.

A great article in the New York Times about Stirling Moss has this quote from him in 1961:

"To race a car through a turn at maximum possible speed when there is a great lawn to all sides is difficult, but to race a car at maximum speed through a turn where there is a brick wall on one side and a precipice on the other - ah, that's an achievement !"

The guy was fearless behind the wheel and is a true legend in the world of motorsports.

When he was racing, he lived each day like it was his last, he has some stories. I remember him saying that he felt sorry for Lewis. He said Hamilton would have to stay after the race and answer question after questions. He said I didn't have to do that, I would go chasing after the girls.
