I would like to see NASCAR rules to go back to weigh the car and driver together as minimum weight.
As it is the cars all weigh the same so it is to a teams advantage to hire the lightest driver they can.
Most Americans do not fit in that weight category and I believe that reduces fans ability to connect to today's drivers.
I miss people like Buddy Baker, Tiny Lund, and the like.
What is the average height and weight of the drivers scheduled to participate on the 2019 schedule, let me guess: 5' 6 and 135 lbs ? What is the average for american males between the ages of 21 to 40 ?
Let me guess, 5"10, 190 Lbs.
Something to think about.
