Super Bowl XLVI game thread

I was pretty disappointed in the the entire thing myself. Other than two or three the commercials were awful and of course the halftime show was bad. I'd go as far to say it was even worse than the Black Eyed Peas last year. As far as the game goes it just seemed like another game with no big plays or big moments.
 
seeing belichick's face after the loss was the best part of the game. can't stand him.

congrat's giants :) that kid eli might have a future in the nfl.
 
Wow, Madonna mostly panned here. I actually liked it and I usually don't pay much attention to the half time show. The first song got my attention as it is one of my favorites of hers. On the other hand, I didn't care for Kelly Clarkson's version of the national anthem. But that is the style that won her the contest and what the teenie boppers like these days. I did love Miranda and Blake's singing.

Oh the game, I don't care for either team, but I was pulling for the G-men to win. So can we now say that Ely is better than Payton because he has two rings and MVPs to Payton's one?
 
I still can't believe that the Refs missed two pass interference by the Pats against the Giants. But I guess that doesn't matter now.

YEA GIANTS BABY!
 
All the naysayers expecting N.E. to win but the GI-ants prevailed.

Lots of Pats fans slept like babies last night...after they cried themselves to sleep.:)
The Pats fans are either the worst or best in tne world depending on your point of view. My cousins gave up season tickets a long time ago because of the rowdyness of the fans. My brother had 6 of Beantowns finest at the sports bar he manages and still fights broke out.:eek:
Personally I wish they had been beat 41-3 and gotten humiliated. Fans here are out of control and need to be knocked down a peg or two,,maybe restrictor plates for their mouths would work!
 
Looks like the ratings will fall short of last years.

EDIT: Turns out it did beat last years. Last night's game is now the most watched event in TV history.
