There is nothing to apologize for, you just stated the truth.

The steps look like a pretty good test of the axles and universal joints for sure. My guess is that ain't under warranty.

Friend of mine put an upgraded high strength axle in his and guess what, the $3,500.00 trany saved that axle from breaking, he had to get a new trany, but the $280.00 axle did not break.

So, I was being careless, embarrassed quite frankly by this, but long story short because it sucks to type right now, I was trying to keep it running ( just put a new carb on it) was spraying carb cleaner in it, was lifting it to one side( seems so stupid now) to help get the spray in there and well, the second time doing that wasnt so lucky.
