The steps look like a pretty good test of the axles and universal joints for sure. My guess is that ain't under warranty.
Friend of mine put an upgraded high strength axle in his and guess what, the $3,500.00 trany saved that axle from breaking, he had to get a new trany, but the $280.00 axle did not break.
The hand specialist said nothing important was damaged and he feels everything should heal up.Wow, hope you heal up and hair over soon.
