Boiled Serrano, dried arbol, guajillo, and New Mexico peppers.Are those arbol chiles?
Broiler roasted tomatoes, tomatillos, onion, Serrano…
The garlic head was roasted in the oven at a lower temp.
It all goes in the blender with salt, lime juice, cumin and Mexican oregano.
The water from the boiled chilies is used to adjust desired consistency.
Pic from this morning on my way to the northern part of Manitoba. This was the beginning of over 200 miles on a dirt road through the wilderness to deliver 5000+ gallons of turbine oil to the Kettle Rapids Power Generating Station.

Heritage Shores Nature Preserve, Cherry Grove SC. 17 species so far.
Russell Burgess Coastal Preserve, also in Cherry Grove. 18 species so far.
Wind shifted back to the east. Blew the valley over the hill full of smoke.
Some areas near me are watching the progress. It won’t get to where I am. Hope those fire fighters stay safe.
