Talladega Cup Race - Fall Edition

If there's anywhere that "points as the run now" is completely pointless, it's here

Hamlin and Harvick have problems. Looks like Talladega is, once again, paving the road for Jimmie Johnson to win 5-straight.

The rule is not "if you are involved in the wreck", it's "if you are the cause of the caution".

Call it as it is Marty: NASCAR didn't want Hamlin to have that lap back, end of story. Sure seems like they're 100% committed to ensuring Jimmie wins #5.

And Kyle was clearly visibly under the yellow line when he ADVANCED HIS POSITION and caused that wreck.

But, of course, no black flag because he's not Regan Smith.

No, Ambrose called that wreck when he overreacted.

Seriously andy, from claiming Kyle busch as a "driving god" to a driver who's at fault no matter what, all within a few short months, has to be your biggest swing to date.

I must be watching an old race because I see Happy is in sixth.

Go look at the replay. Kyle had two wheels UNDER the yellow line.

If Brad Keselowski did the same thing and that wrecked happened, everyone would have pitchforks and torches out.

Ambrose did overreact, but Kyle passing UNDER the yellow line and coming up the track forcing room where there was none was the start of the wreck. Ambrose running out of talent was the other cause of it.

For crying out loud, shut up. There is not that much love for Kyle and he didn't pass below the yellow. Watch it again.

Historically speaking, the big one should happen real soon.

So when does repairing front end damage cross the line into illegal aero tinkering? From that report on the 29 team's plans it looks like they plan on tweaking the profile.
