Talladega RACE thread

Gordon is actually out there? Even if laps down? That's a miracle.
I wonder if he'll race his way to the front and wreck the field?

Oh, we are talking about Gordon, not "*******" Kesolowski.

Its true, but I'm no idiot.

See honestly I'll admit that I trolled, but damn its the same people moaning and groaning. I respect all of you, wild things happen. One of those things, but that just the lottery that is plate racing. Its less racing, more luck involved.

Could have ignored it, but I was frustrated reading some of the same sob stories. It racing and crazy things happen.
God forbid people be passionate about racing.

Just for the record, if it was the 24 doing the same thing the 2 was doing down 6 laps and he wrecked in front of the entire field there would have been riots.

Gordon calling out Brad as well.

But this wreck was no body's fault

Gordon is all class man. Gotta respect that.

That's what a 6 lap down car should do. Keep your ****t off the track cuz you ain't going nowhere. Brad should take notes.

There's Brad' first would be lucky dog

5 MORE TO GO BABY

Hardly a sob story this week. An idiot, 6 laps down, wrecked a bunch of good cars.

If you can't realize how dumb that is...well that's on you.

I'm not in the car, I would not know.

Staying up in front being six laps down, okay. One of the fastest cars in the field, so I just give up completely if something happens and begin to get those laps back. These guys are thinking steps ahead of us, but things like that happen.

I saw it in 1995 with Villeneuve being two almost three laps down to win. He didn't stop because of it, kept moving forward to win the darn race.

If someone runs out of fuel late like JJ did at the end of the Duel, it's going to be nasty.

6 laps down. Not 2. Not 3. 6 laps down. You aren't making up 6 laps in 188 laps. Let alone 50.

Quit being so dense.

OK, friends, let's get it back under control. Some think Brad shouldn't have been racing up front -- even though he was as fast as the leaders --- others think he should have been in the back just riding around.

Agree to disagree and move on. It's happened -- unfortunately a lot of good cars got hurt.

Not calling any names, but some are becoming a little too vehement in their replies.

Okay, still plenty of race left.
50 laps at a place race under green?

Being as fast as the leaders at a restrictor plate track isn't an accomplishment.
