Talladega RACE thread

He was handed a win with what looks to be a semi controversial finish, I'm just having a bit of fun with it. I do believe it's just more egg on the face of NASCAR than anything else.

Handed the win? Okay. Watch the replay. Sheez.

For all the hate people give these races, was there ever a time when SS tracks like Dega and Daytona were worth watching?

Heck yeah, back when they were actual stock cars and you'd have less than 5 cars finish on the lead lap. The freight train of the restrictor plate era is a joke.

And anyone who thinks they should have let them run open to the finish yesterday should be on the go-kart boards.

Who knows what would happened if they raced back to the line (assuming no debris) - but that doesn't matter now. Hamlin made the move out of line to pass harvick for the lead just before the second to last caution and it proved to be the race winning pass = earned.

Awesome buddy.

You went to all 3 races!! Damn, so jealous.

Thanks for sharing Brent.

Yeah, I really enjoyed it! Though, I really noticed how little the Arca series is respected. The Arca race was at 10am, but roughly 50% of the tents outside of the track had Sprint cup driver appearances between 10 and 11 which of course will take away the focus of the Arca race going on. I understand it's for the fans, but it would suck for the Arca guys to look into the crowd and see that everyone would rather be out by the tents instead of watching their race.
