Let me shoot myself now.
Don't take it too hard...they've all done it at one time or another

Let me shoot myself now. gah
This nose to tail racing just looks dumb...
Yes it does!
I can't stand JJ but that was awesome.

I gotta say Blaney had a chance but Kurt mesed up. Still this type of racing is joke, I hate it!!!
#88 was on #48's bumper and it showed him as 5th...that's a tight finish.
I think all plate races should be 10 laps next year.
Maybe it's just me but it looked like Johnson went below the yellow by two goodyears. The finish was soo fast & close & exciting that I don't think anyone really noticed.

Too close to call?
Too close to call?
They need to go back to the 2008/2009 Car of Tomorrow, front end and wing and all.
I saw Gordon go below the yellow line to pass earlier in the race. Newman stopped to get a caution as well so I guess Nascar just wasn't in the mood to give a penalty today.
To be fair, what should've Jimmie done? drop back and lose the win, or move on up and cause a wreck?
Why did Bill Elliott get out of his car and have Yeley sub??????
I have no idea.
Wonder if he's not a fan of speed dating????
Just watched the replay on nascar.com where I could stop it to get a better look. I might need a beer to wash down the words I might have to eat from my earlier post. The 48 was very possibly below the line. The question is did he get back up before advancing his position? I'll be interested to hear what Nascar says about it if anything.
HMMMM BEER
The problem with the potential of Jimmy getting out of the gas and getting back in line is the inevitable punt he'd hav gotten from the 88, sending Jimmy up into Mark, and lord knows who else.

Same story goes in regards to Regan Smith in 2008 but that win did not stand.
Either the rule says you can advance your position going below the yellow line or you can't. It can't be both.
After the race yesterday.....
I wonder if these two were hanging around for the two truck draft on the way back to Charlotte?
People can complain about the two-car draft all they want. To me, this is no different than the racing we saw in the 70's and early 80's except two cars are drafting by two other cars. Back then, a car could draft by another car and sling shot his way around. The other car might turn around and do the same thing on the same lap. The cars were also as spread out as they were yesterday. As much as people complained about the pack racing of restrictor plates, what we've seen at Daytona and Talladega is no different than what we'd see if there were no plates, just probably less passing.
However, back then they were actually competitive passes. Now? Not so much. Lead changes might as well no be counted.
