If I still lived in Nevada I would put $10 on that one, he shouldn't be any worse than 12-15/1.

Much like other sports teams coming to the area, NASCAR simply wanted those within the sport to be aware and informed of the lethal virus with information gathered from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Chaser's Chassis selections for Texas.....

#2-Brad Keselowski: will drive Primary Chassis PRS-918 at Texas, which last raced at Bristol in August, finishing 2nd. The Backup Chassis is PRS-902 which was last used as a backup at Kansas in October and last ran at Sonoma as the #22 car, finishing 16th.

#11-Denny Hamlin: chassis not reported on race preview.

#18-Kyle Busch: chassis not reported on race preview.

#20-Matt Kenseth: chassis not reported on race preview.

#22-Joey Logano: will drive Primary Chassis PRS-917 at Texas, which last ran at Bristol in August and won. The backup chassis is PRS-903 which last raced at Richmond in September and finished 6th.

#24-Jeff Gordon: crew chief Alan Gustafson has selected Hendrick Motorsports Chassis No. 24-907 for this Sunday's race. This chassis has been raced twice previously with Gordon posting runner-up finishes at Chicago in September and Charlotte in October. Gordon has one win, two pole positions, nine top-five finishes and 12 top-10s in 27 Sprint Cup starts at Texas. The 43-year-old driver is the only individual to compete in every Sprint Cup event at Texas. On April 5, 2009, Gordon led 105 laps en route to his lone victory in The Lone-Star State. That win was his 82nd career victory in NASCAR's premier division.

#31-Ryan Newman will drive chassis No. 491 on Sunday at Texas. This is a new Caterpillar Chevy being utilized under race conditions for the first time this weekend. Newman is looking to capture his second-career victory at the 1.5-mile oval when he makes his 23rd NASCAR Sprint Cup Series start at Texas. His win came in the spring of 2003 making him the youngest Texas winner at 25 years, 3 months and 22 days. The Rocket Man also won the pole for both Sprint Cup Series events in 2005 to complete the sweep. In total, he owns three top-five and five top-10 finishes. Newman has an average start of 16.6 and average finish of 19.1. HOLT CAT and Warren CATwill be featured on the #31 Caterpillar Chevy this weekend at Texas.

#99-Carl Edwards the #99 Aflac team will unload primary chassis RK-927 which was last run at Kansas, starting in the 12th spot and finishing 5th and at the second Michigan race, starting in the 19th spot and finishing 10th. Backup chassis RK-897 was Backup for second Charlotte race. Edwards has three wins at Texas in the Sprint Cup Series to include 2005 and a sweep in 2008. Edwards has 19 Sprint Cup starts at Texas with an average start of 12.9 and an average finish of 15.5.
 
New crew chief starts with Danica Patrick at Texas: After two good years with crew chief Tony Gibson, Danica Patrick welcomes Daniel Knost as the head of the #10 GoDaddy Chevy. Knost is the interim crew chief and brings along his road crew from the #41 Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR) entry of Kurt Busch. Gibson and his road crew move to Busch and the Haas Automation team. The pit crews remain the same. Knost worked with Patrick as an engineer for eight races at SHR in 2012 under Greg Zipadelli. He is also very well educated, having graduated from North Carolina State University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He continued his pursuit of higher education at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Blacksburg, Virginia, where he earned a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering in 2003 and a doctorate in the same field in 2008. As crew chief for Busch, Knost scored a win in March at Martinsville and led Busch to the 16-driver Chase for the Sprint Cup Championship. In 2013 he was the race engineer for Ryan Newman and won at Indianapolis and helped lead the team to the 13-driver Chase for the Championship.

New crew chief starts with Kurt Busch: Beginning this weekend, the mechanics, engineers and entire road crew for the #41 team of Kurt Busch will be led by crew chief Tony Gibson, who will take the seat atop the Haas Automation pit box. For Gibson, leading a race team isn't just about making the right calls during any given race. Instead, the Daytona Beach, Florida native takes a hands-on approach with his racecar at the SHR shop, and it extends all the way to the racetrack - something many consider to be old school. He oversees every aspect of the development of the team's fleet of racecars. He takes great pride in working with his cars, from bare chassis, to hanging the car's body, to painting and decaling the car, to setting up the car for each track. Gibson wants to be there with his racecars each and every step of the way. Gibson came to SHR in 2009 from Dale Earnhardt, Inc., to serve as Ryan Newman's crew chief of the #39 Chevy. Many of the crewmembers who worked with him came to SHR, as well. As such, Busch gets a close-knit crew that believes in the old-school mentality that has been a key to the group's success. A look at Busch's career shows that he's seemed to thrive when he's paired with a crew chief who shares that same, old-school mentality that Gibson has. Busch has been quick to compare Gibson to Jimmy Fennig, with whom he's won 14 Sprint Cup races and the 2004 championship.

Don't we have this Dallas/Fort Worth/where is the race actual held debate before every Texas race?

I believe that last time someone showed a map with the race track, proving where it actual is held.

One must be careful with those "offical" maps. A pro Fort Worth or Dallas map artist often will use poetic liesence to draw maps to suit their own agenda, and even get them notarized by "intellects" with the same bias.
 
As you all know I am a Kenseth fan, but, with Harvick being as fast as he is at 1.5's, it would be hard to bet against him. I pick Harvick and Gordon as the two top contenders this week end. The wild card would go to Larson.

Unless they draw a white line or build a wall between them I can't tell the difference. One is East and one is west is about as close as I can get. BTW drove by the track last week pulling a hot shot load to San Antone, she is looking good.
