Texas bone head

Trevor Bayne for not moving over which caused too much adversity for MTJ to overcome at his home track

You are a funny guy!

What is up with MTJ? The guy whines about every other car. He lost several races ago and it was about NASCAR should pull slower cars off the track, then he wins because of a slower car and we don't hear anything, now Bayne (if you look at the video wasn't impeding the 78) is somehow to blame for MTJ mistake on the track. Anyone else notice that after the 4 passed MTJ his car keep falling back. What was the 6 in his way for 3 laps or something?

48 team for showing up with junk haha and knaus not knowing how to actually strategize from that position....when someone looks like an amazing crew chief when you have the best equipment but a goon when you dont haha

Jimmie for somehow managing to do worse week after week.

Nomination goes to Eddie Gossage's ego who thinks his mighty Texas Motor Speedway is invincible to NASCAR's hardships. He's stated that he refuses to remove seats. Today's attendance was one of the worst-looking this season, imo.

MTJ might be the biggest crybaby in the field. He whines abut everything, same with Pearn. The sense of entitlement with those guys has skyrocketed ever since they joined up with Gibbs.

I HIGHLY doubt that.

Every seat on the backstretch has been removed. Personally, I wouldn't remove any more. You never know if attendance will pick up in the future.

Me for seeing Truex was leading and running to the grocery store -- missing Harvick score a win.

The pass for the lead was the kind of stuff afternoon naps are made of .... just like the whole race was. The 48 team loaned Harvick "the switch"

Why is Pearn always look like a guy headed out to his garage to work on the mower? Does he own anything but a tee shirt?

78 car has an impressive record this year .... just imagine what would happen if the crew chief were to dress more appropriately

Probably a generational thing, but I have been a student of the Roger Penske school of how teams should look and act since about 1974. I never even allowed myself to be seen at the track with an untucked shirt, and if I got dirty, I would go wash up put another shirt on.

HMS also has a dress code. That nice tucked in shirt hasn't helped KK or Junior do much on tract.

Did it help the 48, 24 and 5 teams rack up 12 Cup titles? The point is, it implies a sense of professionalism and pride in yourself and what you do. I know those values count for less and less every day, but some of us old geezers still find value in them.

Side note, this is why I dislike Bill Belichik (or however you spell it.) Always looks like a bum. Hoodies and sweatshirts with the the arms literally cut off.

But I digress. Bonehead goes to Larson. I didn;t see the earlier crew mishaps, but he just plain lost it on his own, and blamed it on those mishaps and getting stuck back there. And I like Larson.

The fans that paid to watch the boring race.

He's a little hard for me to take like that, even if I weren't a Colts fan. Of course I grew up in an era when NFL coaches wore suits. I love hoodies, but there's a time and a place for everything.

Give him a couple of weeks and he'll probably own several T-shirts that say '2017 Champions'.

What the heck difference does it make what he wears? As long as that team keeps dominating, he could show in fishnets and a leather corset. If other crew chiefs thought it helped, expect orders to Frederick's to pick up.

Pearn called Jimmie Johnson a **** ass racer last season.

He doesnt have much perspective.

It seems to matter to the kind of people that matter to me. If Roger Penske and Rick Hendrick see value in it, then that's good enough for me. Chad Knaus is also a huge stickler for the way the car looks, the shop, the transporter and the crew. Once again, good enough for me.

The 78's presentation always looks fine to me. Penske isn't the only outfit that polishes the transporter's wheels.

Mr. Visser will surely take care of Pearn's manner of dress if it becomes an issue. It won't.
